I wonder if anyone's ever done a proper environmental cost impact on bidets v bog roll. I'm sure someone must have somewhere.

You'd have thought that water processing is less energy intensive and resource instensive than paper manufacturing.

No chemicals, no logging (yes, I know), water being used to wash your arse rather than produce paper etc. etc.

But then you also have the manufacturing process of making bidets to consider. Plus bog roll is recycled paper generally so you have to offset that. I'd also assume the calculation is region dependent.

I am 100% sure when I move next I will install a bidet. As it is I take my morning shit and have a shower it is the only way to feel 100% clean. If I have to shit and cant shower even using baby wipes it does not feel right.

Actually what with all the forests planted to produced the paper I wouldn't be surprised if it has a positive effect since it takes so much carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and ends up sequestered back into the ground.

They're to replace the trees they cut down - and saplings aren't as effect at sequestering as more mature trees.

But yep @Gwadien - I ain't got one but next place I'm definitely doing it. Better all round tbfh.

No but I don't like walking about with shit particles in my pants all day

Well wiping your arse helps, we'vetalked before about skidmark problems and how people don't know how to do the wiping :p

I can understand if you're one who is prone to brownstriped undies.

It's not that simple, though. I've got a hairy arse crack. That means I can wipe and wipe and get it 98% of the way there, but there's always little bits and pieces knocking about which ultimately lead to stinking arse syndrome.

How hard can it be to find internal UK flights? I'm going to Wales next month and I really don't want to be travelling for 9 hours on the train if I can help it.

Does anyone know of a site where I can search for flights between areas rather than specific destinations?

Can a company take money from you, then refund you, then take money back?

IE, Twice now, I've sent parcels back to Amazon via Collect+ and I get a refund email as soon as they scan it at the shop, what if I send an empty box lol?
