It is? I wouldn't know, I don't follow anything with "star" in the name. I do know that Stargate isn't mentioned once on the Interstellar wiki so are you saying you know something that nobody else does or that it uses similar tech/ideas? I did read that there will be a reboot of Stargate (a trilogy), set for release in 2015...

I sit here in utter amazement at the deep feelings that are being expressed by the simple
profession of supplying transportation in return for monetary reward.

it seems similar enough to me tbh. Really hope they don't do that with Stargate the original story wouldn't last three films.

Whilst I like the trailer I think that's the best bits of the film done.

Nice to see America is coming round to making Americans like India tho eh?

It's FH green. Buy buy buy.

On a serious note, I wouldn't buy a USB2 one, look at those awful read/write speeds.

Because house designers don't design in bidets.

Seems like Brits like to do long term mechanical damage to their anuses with dry paper, whilst the rest of the world likes to use water.

I had a bidet growing up, but it wasn't until I went to Spain that I realised how great are. Missed it ever since since I got home. I mean, if you get shit anywhere else on you, would you just wipe it off with a piece of paper and be fine with it? No you'd wash it off.

There may have been a little soupçon of sark in there but I honestly don't know a thing about Stargate so I said "to the internet!" and found no solid links between the two whatsoever.

And Kelly's Heroes was a bit... funny, wasn't it? I think Fury has similar plot ideas (OK, very similar plot ideas) but it's going to be all serious and grr.

That's a "health faucet". Makes it sound like you get magical powers from using it.

"soupçon" - look who's got a French keyboard ;)

Yeah I read the synopsis for Fury on IMDB and...oh dear, single Sherman tank behind enemy lines done as serious drama (yeah right, no surprises that this comes from the writer of U-571...), and...Shia LaBeouf. Frankly if its not being done as comedy, it should be.

I quite like the look of Interstellar. Its supposedly based on the theories of a physicist called Kip Thorne who reckons the maths let masses pass through wormholes under certain conditions without violating laws of causality, so time travel without paradoxes. And Nolan hasn't done a movie I haven't liked yet.

Hah, I don't actually. AZERTY makes my head hurt. I'm just so used to typing French on this QWERTY one that I know ALT+135 is the shortcut for a c with cedilla. :)

Seriously, of all the things the French brought to the table, AZERTY has to be one of the most mind-boggling. I guess the fact that "the table" basically ignored them speaks volumes. I have the keyboard on my phone set up for English (UK) and French (Canadian) because the Canucks had the good sense to stick with QWERTY.

I was at a charity abseil and was on the roof watching people go ver the edge of a ten story hotel...I traced the lines back and all the ropes including the safetys were wrapped around four bricks in the middle of the roof that were arranged in a 2x2 block and were simply holding a 2inch diameter pipe off the ground...seriously..a good kick would have dislodged them..I pointed this out and got the 'you dont know what youre talking about mate' look. I collared a fireman who were at the event..he went ballistic and used their straps to attach it to a large structure...fucking unbelievable.
