Never happened to me but I make sure I export my library when i move PC's. If you forget to do that you are fucked it will wipe all music when it syncs a new library but it should have warned you.

I made my own playlist on a former computer (no way iTunes will touch my music folder). Added foto fronts I made myself for the homemade cd's (aswell as others that didnt have any) which took hours. Converted video's that took hours aswell. Perhaps Apple should fkoff and let me do the deleting and adding stuff? Sync was off for music and video btw (I checked that). So I thought it would be fine, but I hade my doubts. Never really did like iTunes and all the services it needs to start up with Windows. Leave alone that it needs internet to function at all. And now if I loose the original library, I'm fked aswell.

Is there anything consumer friendly or logic that I not aware of which Apple has added? If so, please remind me because I'm about to get a hammer and put a smile on my face.

If it is the same computer and the same Windows build as when you did the original sync you should have been fine. I lost a lot of music by making this mistake. If you change computer or rebuild you need to copy the whole iTunes folder into place then install iTunes it will then be your old library and once signed in you can sync your device with no issues. If you don't do that it will wipe your music and give you an empty device apart from apps and music purchased from Apple. It is shit they should make it like Android where you can drag and drop music but i suppose this is how they tackle piracy.

I personally rarely use iTunes now. I have paid for iTunes match so all of my music is now downloadable straight to my iPhone with no need for a PC. I only use iTunes now for a full backup / restore.

If you really can't get on with iTunes maybe look into something like SharePod?

Or just get a non-shit player that you can drag and drop stuff onto as and when you see fit.

Honestly what is with all this syncing bollocks? Are Apple users not capable of maintaining their own digital music collections or something? I have all my music on my PC, I copy a few gb's onto my GS2 at a time and that's that.

What you say would me ditching iOS for Android which to me is a downgrade. It is not a popular opinion on here but to me IOS is the superior OS. So while iTunes is shocking software the few times a year I need to touch it are fine. And with iTunes Match I don't even need the computer I download them any time anywhere over the web.

I've come down with Lassa Fever, Ebola, and Nigerian Swan Fungus.

aka manflu

Yet I'm eating like a pig. Isn't the flu supposed to suppress appetite?

Ebola Virus Disease begins with a sudden onset of an influenza -like stage characterized by general malaise , fever with chills, arthralgia and myalgia , and chest pain. Nausea is accompanied by abdominal pain, anorexia , diarrhea, and vomiting. Respiratory tract involvement is characterized by pharyngitis with sore throat, cough, dyspnea , and hiccups. Thecentral nervous system is affected as judged by the development of severe headaches, agitation , confusion, fatigue ,depression , seizures , and sometimescoma

I have all of thesr symptoms. Will someone take care of my pigs in blankets? I want them to go to a good home

This morning I am going to buy 4 packets of McVities Fruit Shortcake biscuits, 3 giant bags of Rowntrees Fruit Pastels, a large bag of salted cashew nuts, curry, bacon, marzipan, Frazzles, and a Kinder Egg. All are supposed to have magical properties to cure manflu. Or at least they'll keep me happy until the Chinese takeaway opens at midday. I can't stop eating. WTF?
