A house on Egerton Crescent, a short walk from the V&A Museum, goes for an average of £8,136,000, while a four-bedroom house with a very small garden recently sold for £12m.

All the top ten most expensive roads in the UK are in London, according to the study carried out by Lloyds TSB.

Windows 8, as an OS for the PC, is a pile of wank. I imagine it works wonderfully well on a tablet such as the Surface but on a PC it seems that they've given Windows 7 an extra UI feature and made doing anything more work than is necessary.

Will be formatting the ex's new laptop later and putting Windows 7 on it.

I actually quite like it. It is not that much different to windows 7 really. Yes you lose the start menu but it is not a problem. Most things are on the start screen anyway and it's easy to get to desktop.
