just read something on the gun control thing... someone saying 'if it was done with a hammer, would we ban hammers as well' of course not, what a stupid fucking argument. If i saw a man with a hammer attacking a child, would i tackle him? Of course, its just a fucking hammer. Probably the same with a knife, but im not so sure about that. A gun is a different kettle of fish... it can kill you instantly and is scary. You could kill 20 people with a gun in the time you could kill 1 with a hammer.
It's not the fault of the device, it's the fault of the user. People take issues with guns because they're specifically designed to kill.

Scouse that point you made that we have quite high gun related crime...really? Where did you get that from.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

We're below Netherlands for fucks sake.

They all ride bikes wearing wooden shoes, smoke weed, live in windmills and eat tulips but still find the time to kill more people then us with guns.
this actually shocked me a little: the gun related homi-/suicide rate is pretty damn high. I wonder why? The UK wouldn't be on that chart at all if it weren't for the high amount of people topping themselves with a firearm. Wonder how that works out 0o

I think the way our armed officers works helps over here. That twat in Manchester that killed the two cops turned himself in because he was scared that next time it would be armed cops that turned up and they don't fuck around.

Plus Holland has the whole drug thing going on could that explain a lot of the deaths over there? Cartels don't tend to worry about murdering plenty of people to help make a point.

drug thing? don't make me laugh. Every time I'm in the UK I see more drugs used openly than any day in the NL tbh. Though ofc that may just be the people I see and the places I go tbh 0o

Why would the businessman evoke an emotional response? The fixed income guy got a response from me, they guy must be starving himeself to pay his rent and bills.

I guess because they clearly had so much compared to other people, but still couldn't be happy together ?

I am not big on my world wide drug smuggling networks but I am sure I have read that NL is a big transit hub for a lot of drugs into Europe second only to Turkey but if I am wrong i apologize.

oh, my bad: we're talking about different things: you're talking about traffic, I'm talking about usage. Sorry I missed that bit.

what opticle said really, but also the fact that after 30+ years of marriage he knows how to take care of himself but has no idea how to buy groceries for one person. Makes me feel sad :(
