The cervix is never going to win any aesthetic awards tbh - women's pubic region has a generally unfinished look like the designer wandered off halfway through - not to mention as a practical piece of plumbing its also shite - the urethra is too short and prone to infection.

It's only fundamental biological programming that prevents us realising this :p

31 seconds of whatever that was was enough to remind me that my time here is done here. I am off to visit a parallel dimension where only every 4th word is intelligible and a race of transvestite monkeys rule the galaxy.

Possibly. But maybe it's prone to something else bad if they're longer on women. Evolution does have a way of working these things out ;)

We are still a work in progress though - thus we have atrophied organs we no longer need like the appendix, crap design like the facial nerves being prone to being knocked out by minor infections, the urethra in women, the crappy heart that doesnt scale properly for larger humans - you could list thousands of faults if you wished.

Luckily evolution is becoming irrelevant to our species and in the very near future we can start designing some of the bugs out.

obviouse troll was beeing blantantly obviouse....my heart cries!

the posts were left for Waz. Why ? - Because calling out your own 100 pages back pre-posts is just so sad, and screams of tears for attention :D
should have left it to someone else to point that out.

Well that's what you get when the designer buggers off. Damn atheists, they pissed off god and he left us unfinished :(

Doesn't look much better than the first descent for some reason. It could be that the nme mobs are bland and have no feeling to them. The AI needs to be beefed up seriously.

Strangely enjoying RAGE at the moment. Only an hour in but it feels good. A bit Fallout-esq but as you'd expect from a game from Carmak the character movement feels good and solid - which was the thing that I hated about Fallout3 - you were disconnected from the landscape.

Still got the slow-draw texture issues tho. I guess that's the console's fault :)

Yeah the mobs are quite direct ports, but it's a nice proof of concept that a new descent would be viable.

Rage was a nice enough title but it wasn't iD at all to me. All the inventory stuff just made me want to play Fallout instead.

I got *so* bored of Fallout. I made it through Fallout 3 (mainly because I was smoking weed at the time) - but I started New Vegas the other month and about 15 hours in I felt like killing myself.

The game mechanics of Fallout are just horrid. I'm not far into Rage but simply moving about is a bazillion times better. Combat is much better and the inventory stuff is simple - you don't have to pointlessly search *every single fucking locker*.

Fallout 3 feels like a 100% console game. Rage feels at least a little at home on the PC, even if it is quite dumb.

I don't really care about a games graphics if the gameplay is good but the Fallout series had such shit visuals compared to every other so called Triple-A title around I've never ever been able to finish any of the series as they just give me a headache.
