There is a small subset of cases where it's necessary from a medical standpoint. However, in general circumcision - cutting off the foreskin / mutilating the penis - is a brutal thing to do to babies.
It's a barbaric religious ritual the purpose of which, at it's very core, is to stop men masturbating by making it harder to do so and less pleasurable.
I don't know if you have a foreskin. If you don't, I'm sorry to say you're missing out. As are all the men that have had this unnecessarily foisted upon them without their consent. Hardened, much less sensitive, glans.

And what's most disgusting is that a lot of the population have been mind-captured. We're absolutely rightly abhorrently disgusted by the very common practice of FGM - a practice that has been imported to the UK with mass immigration. But we don't blink at the same practice in males as it's been largely normalised.
But it's medieval, barbaric and unnecessary.
Edit: And do you know the "traditional" method of doing it in ultra orthodox Jewish ceremonies? The rabbi makes a small cut then chews/sucks the foreskin off.
