How? The cash goes in her pocket, so she's the only one dealing with it.

How's her doing that differently to her going to the shops herself and handling cash?

Also, aren't we meant to be embracing capitalism over life? She's brought more customers into the shop, mostly the elderly.

Doesn't she give any change?

Think it through. It's pretty simple. It's about what you touch, take off who and how many, and what you go on to touch, who touches that...

She's got a pocketful of covid-tainted change. Because all of the old mcbiddysons definitely came in with the exact change, each and every one of them, so that was perfect and risk free for them olds.

And after every interaction she didn't go on to touch anything that her colleagues handle, like the card machine, or door handles, because she was fastidious each and every time.

And when she went home with her bulging coronapocket she didn't touch that cash, or put it anywhere that could be touched for at least three days, and definitely disinfected her hands and didn't touch anything, or anyone else in her family.

And loads of other scenarios that come to mind, change from her coronapocket that definitely wasn't given out to other elderly people notwithstanding, because that definitely didn't happen. 'cause rather than being an amiable idiot working in a bread shop she was actually a sly genius, who religiously followed the rules designed to minimise the risks of transmission.

I don't think the length of this response was necessary, I'm not that bothered.

Bothered enough to bring it up in the first place. But don't worry babe - I type at 100 words a minute. :p

I read the PS5 still can't do 120fps 4k? and looks like a giant router.

No one knows if it can do 120fps at 4k yet, not even the press has had access to it yet fully without an NDA lifted so anything you read online is bollocks. Can I see it doing 4k? sure, at a constant 120fps? doubtful, its a console after all. Based on its specs its the equivalent to an above average gaming PC. The custom SSD in it puts most PC ssd's to shame as far as loading times go.

My guess? you're probably looking at 60-90fps stable 4k (and that's just a guess) with the potential of some games utilizing full 120fps 4K.

example of its loading time potential here

This is PS4 Pro vs PS5 and this was a long time ago, load times would likely have improved since then. they go through a demonstartion of PS4 Pro load time bottle necks vs PS5 load times

Aye but the point is, it will be a midrange PC at launch and remain there. It also looks fugly, I have a PS4 pro, tidily mounted behind my TV and had intended to get a PS5 but that spaceship thing isn't going anywhere near my living room, I'm not even sure where I would put it.

I've spent a fair amount of time and money teaching myself carpentry, my living room is spot on, that would ruin the entire room!

Hopefully they release a more grown up looking one a few years down the line.

Wow. 8 seconds.

;)

its blistering :p until recently the custom PS5 SSD was faster than anything even a PC could offer, PC came out with a new M2 though I believe that's quicker. It's a good advancement for a console though.

To be fair until M2/nvme start to come out which are pcie 4 compatible the PS5 will have the lead.

You reckon? if that's true I think the PS5 is going to turn a lot of heads and I look forward to seeing what developers are capable of making based on the load times alone.

My understanding is that the PS5 is using dual lane PCIe 4 to the SSD. Once more motherboards are out which support PCIe 4 then they will be just as good or if not better due to newer SSD designs.

They did say you can add new hardware to the PS5, I wonder if you can upgrade the SSD as time goes on.

It's about 10.30am now. Just playing Taptap Heroes. Advert popped up. Usually the adverts are for innocuous things like jam, crochet needles, business courses, and games. Today's took me by surprise I have to say. A cartoon of a man taking liquid viagra, getting a boner, then getting a blow job
