Yes..thats why as I explained before you go off on your rants.
They hassle my wife to provide evidence that the kid is struggling in school.
She says its bordering on munchausen by proxy, then they hassle the fuck out of the doctors.

So stop with your clueless , disconnected ranting and realise there are professional scroungers at work here.
You can get PIP for abything if you can coerce the health officials into it.
Thats why the evil Tories are clamping down on it...so your 'liberal' world view can be satisfied
Hows the ivory tower?

Where did I rant? What the fuck are you talking about? If anything I was agreeing that funding could be used for autism and asthma

Are you actually a keyword bot? It would explain a lot.

Really..it just gets referred up and eventually meets some overworked underpaid employee who signs it off for an easy life.
These people know this....they know who's soft, they ask for specific staff and specific doctors...its a well executed assault on the benefits system, major problem or not..you originally asked why the spike in asthma, I said same as the spike in the autistic spectrum.....disability payouts and all the advantages that comes with the diagnosis.

If that was true @Job there'd have been a spike in benefits being claimed along with the spike in asthma and autism - but there isn't.

So, once again, you're talking shit.

Did anyone watch the Athletics mixed relay?

Fucking lol, not going to be too popular after the scenes of the men tearing past the women.

At least they were actual women I suppose.

It's a fucking poster of a foetus. A live unborn child. That's it.

It's not a threat of violence, or intimidating, or chasing around the streets after children, or all of the other fucking nightmare whataboutery you and @Gwadien have decided to embark upon.

It's simply a picture of a kid, in a womb - you know, what women carry to term (so hardly shocking) - and a website. Nothing else. What's so threatening about it that it constitutes harrasment?

I don't agree with the anti abortion lot - I largely agree with the pro-choice lot. But considering I actually tried to enter into the argument with census data showing what most of the UK feels about this thing lets look at just one aspect of it eh?:

Stella Creasy supports sex-selective abortions. So aborting kids when parents don't like the sex of it. That's top-end of that argument.

How about going further? Terminating kids with non-life threatening minor disabilities - like cleft palate - which a disabled MP brought to parliament but had the motion talked out? My cousin had a cleft palate - it was a two second op after she was born to fix. She's lived a full and productive life and other than a slight scar on her upper lip nobody would know.

Are we OK to perform eugenics at this level @Gwadien? @Ormorof? The aborting of a baby near-term because of a minor, fixable, disfigurement?

What Stella Creasy doesn't support is debate about the nailed-on eugenics above. And neither do you two - based on the fact that you ignored the evidence I brought to the party before becoming all emotional because I used the term "snowflake" - which seems to be a red rag to a tiny whiny bull nowadays :D

i dont get where in my post you got the idea i support eugenics or "near-term abortion because of a minor, fixable, disfigurement"

I also dont see how not supporting attack ads against an MP because of her position on abortion makes me want to shut down debate? Jumping to conclusions a bit there @Scouse ;)

If its because i can see how its harassment, well i also dont see how a website , and billboards targeting a single MP (would there be same level of vitriol if it was an old dude? doubt it...) is "inviting debate" on a subject like abortion.

It was tongue in cheek - because she does. - as I'd explained in my reply - sex selective abortion and abortion of near-term foetuses with minor fixable disfigurement (like cleft palate).

But you didn't read the links ;)

No point in going over it again though - content of my argument is in my replies to Gaff old bean. And I stand by it.

But this is not exactly a new argument, "wont someone rid me of this troublesome priest?" type comments are increasingly common in politics, and have already resulted in assaults, bomb threats, etc

But hey its its free speech, he didnt technically order anyone to do it so hes blameless

It's also disgusting how Job sees having autism or adhd as a badge of honour purely for financial benefit.

Ask @Moriath what his experience of school was, although you'll just dismiss it because he's not you.

Id love to see you spend a hour with a kid who has Adhd, I know you belong to that dinosaur generation that says 'muhhh, they're just shit heads, nothing wrong with them!!!!'

People said the same shit for cancer until not very long ago, would you like to revert to medical cures for them too? Actually, your answer would be yes considering your views on the NHS.

Until it comes to you ofc.
Haha. If you wanna know it was shit. If you really wanna know it was shit shit lol

Jesus christ on a shitbike..you really have perfected totally twisting my comments havent you.
Kids with adhd get payments...a fuck load of parents coerce officials into diagnosing their disruptive kids with spectrum conditions to get the payouts.
But apparently pointing that out makes me Mengele.

This is always the port of call for liberal thought...people are giving up on you...thats why the Tories are in the lead.

Link please Job.

1) You asked for the figures - I provided the link ti the government figures. They don't back you up. Benefit rates are falling.

2) Are you saying your wife was coerced?

Either way - you're talking shit - the evidence has been provided to you, you've ignored it and you've carried on saying the same thing - despite you being given government figures showing you it's shite.

You may know one person who's done it. Bravo - you mix with scum - just like your red diesel theif mate.

Benefit rates are falling overall because of the government crackdown.
I mean you do know that.

I wonder with the lack of spectators in the Doha world championship athletics whether we might end up with the same situation in the Football World Cup in 2022.

Nah, the World Cup is too much of a big deal for it to be seen as a flop.

They'll probably give tickets away to the workers as payment.

Oh, so you admit benefit rates are falling.

Good. Then there's no problem then is there.

It's so easy beating you - you just wait a bit and you contradict yourself and win the argument for everyone else.

Problem is you never notice when you do it :(

Seriously.

You are all over the evil Tories for fucking the genuine disabled over, but its just great to win an internet argument.

Its incompetence...the people who know how to play the system win and they allow it by hiring barely trained staff.
Go to the sink estates, theres an army of mobility scooters and people walking with crutches and canes, they know theyre being watched and go to the shops sort of trying to pretend they need them.
Kind of quick run..wobble ..hop they do.
Its fucking hilarious to watch

I love it how you have this ability to look at people and know that they're benefit fraudsters.

Maybe that's your calling? Then they can have barely trained dumb staff too.

Do you ever think stuff like a person getting a serious injury, then becoming unable to work, has to sell decent house to move to the 'sink estate' where they can afford to live?

But still, yeah, I think we do agree with each other.

The Tories have cut benefits to the bone, or 'clamped down' on it. But because it's the Tories, they don't actually care about the end result, so long as they can appease the working classes by telling them they've saved x amount of million (whilst letting corporations & the super rich not paying the billions of tax that they should be, so nevermind.)

But as you say, there's still sink hole estates with professional benefit fraudsters, so in reality the Tories have taken the money away from the genuine claimants and ignored the professionals.

Seems like a failure to me!

@Gwadien Like most things it is a mixture of personal responsibility, Government and business but you have decide how much you apportion to each.

She was there for 23 years though, so she was working there through the good times, so probably more her fault than anything.

I would agree, although we have a habit of not looking to the possible negative aspects of our future lives.

Thomas Cook staff forced to turn to family for cash

I'm not sure whether it's individuals to blame who are too thick to have savings, or if it's societies fault that we've decided that it's okay to live month to month.

You cant infer anything from one news story. There are vast numbers of people for whom amassing any savings cushion is simply a pipedream, and has been so their entire working life. Cabin crew earn shit money, where some of them (long haul crews etc.) top up is with expenses (accommodation, rota allowances etc.), but the ones working for the budget airlines and the tour operators, not really, and because of rotas they usually have to live reasonably close to their "home" airport, which in the southeast will be costly.

I often wonder why anyone would be cabin crew but a friend of mine who works for Aer Lingus tells me it used to be great and there were loads of perks, but they've all gone, but your employment choices are limited; go groundside and earn even less (no rota allowance at all) or leave the industry; most are gone by 35 because there's no money or career prospects in it, but the airlines don't care because there are always more 20 year olds who think its glamorous.

I very much doubt this woman has had any opportunity to build up a savings cushion for at least a decade, probably longer.
