Got a lovely dinner in the oven on a slow cook

Chicken thighs on the bone, with mushrooms, white wine, herbs, and potatoes



Added a little cayenne chilli pepper to the herb mix. Just tried it at the half way point. It's got a real kick to it, but then you get saltiness, the wine, and all those herbs.

It's simple pleasures like this that make you realise its bloody good to be alive.

Agree, but regulation is way stronger in the UK, and so is the competitive landscape. The reason why the cable and telcos are so bad in the US is that in most areas they simply don't compete with each other; most people have a choice of one provider so they can be as shit as they like. In the UK there's a ton of choice.

Also, Murdoch still ends of richer at the end of this process (as he still owns 41% of Sky); so there's that.

It's the leap that it's because they're having mental health problems that they're using cocaine. They're probably using it because they like it. Recreational use is very common.

It's not like coke is something that calms the mind or the nerves. If he'd have been smoking weed to chill out then *maybe* just maybe it would be a thing - but coke is a party drug...
