Having a camera for evidence is all well and good for these type of events..but when there is actual violence the Police never follow it up.
One guy on youtube was run over by a driver.
It took 2 years, three complaints to the Police commission and numerous meeting with the police before they charged the driver.
They dropped the case 4 times.
He had a clear video of the angry driver swerving to knock him off and driving over the bike.

The point is that they need to have agreed places to go - which barely exist anymore even though local councils have a duty to provide somewhere suitable.
