Yup. You should be free to live your life from police interference. They had no legal reason to request more information off her and she was perfectly entitled to refuse.
They should have moved on after she voluntarily submitted to the breath test - which she also didn't legally need to comply with, but did.
But you don't become a cop without being the type of person that likes to force people to do things...
