She's 30, but I have suspected some hormonal issues for some time (she's also had on and off weight gain, spotty chin and recently a bit of hair growing on it). It doesn't really matter, on retrospect there were quite a few things that just continuously caused friction between us - her very low, almost non-existent libido was the driving force behind it. She saw a therapist about it last November after I drew a line in the sand and said we needed help (therefore, officially I insisted we took time apart until resolved). It didn't really improve but we got back together anyway. I think she realised that she was never going to be in that place given how we were both unhappy so she called it quits before the discussion of marriage and babies started. My ego took it quite hard everytime she rejected me - was it me, was i not attractive enough, did she simply not fancy me. Weirdly, she still felt all those things, but she had absolutely no sexual arousal with it.

Thats actually been the problem in my marriage for a bit, but the other way around..her libido has gone through the roof and I cant be arsed, decided to stop watching porn and things have improved, the marriage is so much better when the wife is happy...unbalanced sex desire finishes off a lot of relationships.
