My life is a mess.....
Made a huge decision, life changing in fact, and life has not gone at all the way I had envisaged... I could not have thought of this in a million years... sorry chaps can't say more.I am much improved however. Let's hope that doesn't jynx things.

PORNSTAR?
Mate of mine split up with an ex ages ago. One of her mates was a porn star and he didn't know she fancied him rotten, so he used to go round hers on a regular basis after he found out.

He tells me (amongst other things that you wouldn't even believe) that she used to text him to come round and often, when he opened the door to her flat, she'd already be on all fours nekkid with her ass all lubed up "presenting".

Just thought I'd share :)

I have just been googling shaggy sheep for half an hour in bewilderment because I misheard my sister when asking her what to get mother for mothering Sunday.

Turns out she is into shabby chic, which is a thing these days apparently.

It took their jobs and also the luddite story is the most misrepresented term in history.

That's a good thing. Bring on the universal basic allowance. Work becomes voluntary and we become animals of leisure and intellectual adventure, leading fit, healthy, rewarding lives.

Automate anything that can be automated. Bring it on! :)

Or end up like the people in Wall-E.

I found an old zippo, refurbed it. Absolutely nothing beats the ping of a zippo.

Maybe. But I honestly think that the majority of the reason we don't live active lives is time.
We are not all like you. I would spend more time gaming. And maybe some looking at interesting places. But def not on a bike or a kayak or so e such every weekend.

Even if I do have time I prefer not to be active
That's something you learn as a kid tbh. Even then, I'm not saying everyone would choose to become more active, but a lot of people would.

And @Moriath - I spent from 18-34 very inactive and overweight because my ankles were fucked. I chose to change that and would never look back. Never said it was easy, but gawd damn I'd never go back. Still:

You'd be up and about more. You don't have to be a fitness freak. The ability to go nice places, do nice things. Even if people didn't lose loads of weight they'd still be fitter overall.

I was very active as a kid. Riding my bike, playing tennis, squash, golf, swimming, taking the dog for a walk.
