Its generally a shithole but beats getting stuck behind the Tesco lot.

Well, it looks like he tried to top himself the other day (speculation but the police said it was a "fear for welfare" incident, which doesn't involve criminal activity) which doesn't make him look very innocent. Innovation demo going on next week in our building. New 8K laser 55" screen on display, crystal clear. Showing 12 pages ( 2 rows of 6) from a newspaper on screen and you can read every word. They plan on bringing it to market prior to the Japan Olympics in time for NHK 8K broadcasting the event. Also a stunning see through 55" glass panel, 3 modes LCD, partial see through and full see through (like a very slightly opaque glass). Lots of augmented reality stuff using Microsoft HoloLens, camera recognition and analysis systems.

The recognition and analysis S/W demo using the UHD cameras was slightly unnerving. They have a setup you sit in front of and it measures pulse rate from your iris, your blink rate and analyses facial expressions to indicate mood and if you're telling the truth or lying. Interviews in a few years are going to get a whole lot tougher
