Actually, there are free speech implications there that, whilst I acknowledge they're a gutter of fucktards, worry me.

They 'invade' mosques and tell them they're terrorists, this creates terrorism, this isn't a matter of freedom of speech, its a matter of sheer stupidity (and inciting hatred)

Strange. Received an email, supposedly from Google saying someone tried logging into my account from Egypt. The mail looks legit apart from some strange choice of Swedish words. Changing password, but should i perhaps e-mail google back? (just to point out i did not click any link in the mail)

Rough translation:

Someone attempted to login to your Google-account xxx at this time, from an app that does not meet the requirement for modern security standards.

Yes, they're knob-ends. Yes, they do fucking awful things. Yes, I'd love to wish them out of existence.

However, the free speech implications are real, like it or not.

You shouldnt stop someone from saying shit just cause you dont like it.

Which is why i dislike all the troll prosecutions and even tho its not popular the racist and homophobic statements some people make.

Needs to be educated out of society and shunned if used. But not banned imo

So therefore one should be able to go out and celebrate Lee Rigbys death. Right?

If they wanted to yes. You have the right to be offended by it. But whats the point keeping peoples views locked behind closed doors. It just breeds contempt and is more likely imo to lead to more lee rigbys.

Free speech has limits. They were in Luton doing their "Christian Patrol" shit, which is a direct response to the "Muslim Patrol" nonsense that ended up with five arrests, three of them ending in prison sentences. They're not there to exercise free speech, or cause some kind of debate - they just want to kick up a fuss. That's why the police wanted them out - because fixing the shit they caused was costing them a lot of money.

If Britain First have something to say, they can do it calmly and sensibly like everyone else. Not by driving a Landrover around at night trying to cause disorder.

In the unlikely event of seeing them, you simply tell them to piss up a rope.

Yep.

Oxymoron.

Call it what it is: Not-free speech.

That would be absurd. Even if you allow people to say whatever they like, in practice they never could. For instance, if a newspaper lied and told the world that you had a criminal record, you could sue them for libel. You'd never expect the newspaper to mount a "free speech" defence.

I think we can safely say it's a lot easier to lock up a white man being an ass against Muslims than the other way around, an army of liberals, nutters, death threats, public disorder, human rights issues is against the Police.
They have eventually charged Choudry, any right winger saying what he says would be in jail straight away.

Absolutely not absurd.

In some ways you're right - in practice if you spread malicious rumours you get sued for libel. Newspapers do. But that's very different from outlawing certain types of speech.

Banning speech as "offensive" grants government control over what we're allowed to hear. It removes personal responsibility not to be a dick. It is a slippery slope - one that we've been sliding slowly down for a long time now.

Freedom of speech, not freedom of action. True enlightenment values.

Anyway, we've done this a bazillion times on here, so I should leave it at that :)

Actually he hasn't just been charged - he got ten years hasn't he?

Don't know any white man in the UK that's been given that long a sentence for what he's said and what he's thought. But hopefully you'll find one.

You mean completely lost to erosion, the sea hasn't risen

Literally the first sentence in the article...
Rising sea levels and erosion have caused five islands in the South Pacific to completely disappear

I mean, there's cherry-picking to confirm your own world view and then there's total delusion...

Apparently Dubai has Ladies night's with free alcohol certain days.
There are many places that have ladies night that do include a free drink but not drinks all night. Fibber McGee's and many others. They are usually favourite haunts of the Emirates flight crew girls.

The Friday brunch's are set price with rates for children (soft drinks), adult soft drinks, adult standard alcohol package or adult premium alcohol package. They are excellent value and the food (buffet style with food cooking stations) is great.

They are talking about storm fronts and they blame them on global warming in a sort of leap of science.
Of course the language is used to muddy the waters and make it seem more than it is to get attention.
How frickin low would these Islands have had to be for a few cms of sea rise...if you accept the official guesses, to have been submerged.
