I'm not blaming anyone, corruption is endemic in the human condition, we try to keep it in check, religious and cultural ideology is a whole different ballgame.

Would you have the same problem with a Catholic, or Christian mayor? I don't think it matters which sky fairy he preys to, so long as he doesn't bring that nonsense into policy.
