Apart from a few colour changes the old light style is pretty similar to the new light style, the brown style has been gone for ages so you must have been using the putrid green style for a while now.

Light theme is fine except you can't easily see links in text; the contrast isn't high enough, especially on mobile. Can you make links bold or a different colour?

Only thing I dislike is that when I get an alert I have to click twice to bring 'em up now rather than simply clicking top right and getting a list. This is on my mobile - not checked the desktop yet as I won't be anywhere near it for a week :)

I think it does that for me now on mobile too but only in portrait (I could be wrong though and it could do it in landscape as well). It might be a CSS thing because it's all scrunched up in portrait.

As you can bet on just about anything these days I suspect that any sport regardless of its following/money generation is open to fixing.

Makes me wonder how they scan for this in the first place and get the hunch, I wonder if they look to people that suspiciously won alot of money on particular games?

They watch for betting patterns, so if a hot favorite is winning then all the betting suddenly switches to his opponent who then ends up inexplicably winning that gets flagged as unusual, they can then follow patterns of that player or betting syndicate and see how often it occurs

LOL just got an email regards my sons college application. I took their PDF and made it a form (with Acrobat Pro) for his submission. They have asked me for permission to use it as their standard form. :)

The comments on that post on The Poke's FB site are properly amusing, lots and lots of butthurt vegans. I got asked at one stage if I would drink milk straight from a cow.

I suggested it was a bit challenging to get a cow in the fridge, as it kind of knocked all the beer over.

Cut its legs off and then hang it up in a cupboard somewhere feeding it super cheap food, I don't see why not!

Ethical arguments against halal I get.

But taste? Halal wins pretty much every time (so long as you get the right supplier)

Would that supplier be Halaldi? BOOM! :)

Seriously though it's more the ethical side that bothers me, if we're going to eat meat as we've evolved to do, then I would hope the advances in Human Civilisation would make this as humane as possible for the animals in question, hence I'm fairly against Halal slaughter from that perspective.

Haven't eaten enough to comment from a taste perspective, but I do know the Nando's at Bentley Bridge in Wolverhampton is all Halal, and it is the Cheekiest of the Nando's round here.

Why is my name, top right , in upper case letters? That's just wrong!

How the fuck can Nandos be Halal , they go through zillions of chickens a week, are we seriously supposed to believe there's an army of muslims chanting verse as the carcasses go past at 40mph with some Ninja neck slicer going like a blur.
It's every level of bullshit, the idea in the first place...then the notion it has a place in mass slaughter plus the utter wankthought from muslims who demand it in fast food outlets.
