If so it'd probably only be for films, drama and documentary. I've heard nothing whatsoever about 4k in sport or news.

BT Sport Ultra HD does 4k football (among other sports), but the BBC News channel has only just gone up to HD a few years ago

Went ok. Can feel the rage creeping back.

I came close to a total brain fart about 10 years ago. I was about to loose everything, house, car, the works. Every time I thought I was out of the woods something else came along and screwed it, this was around the time of the financial crash.
I went to the Docs about a pain I had in my hand, broke, and blubbed like a child. I'd been keeping my emotions but not the facts from Mrs Yuck. He said I was depressed and prescribed some pills, can't remember what they were. Anyway I went to the chemist got my pills and went home.
Before taking them I googled them. Facts were that they would alter my mind, good in the short term but they could become a habit. I didn't take them, and put them in a cupboard. I managed to turn things around financially, and everything ended well.
That said I only threw those pills away a few months ago.
It will get better, you've just got to be strong.

If you ever fancy a laugh, watch an American drug advert. Normally half of the ad is telling you what wonderful things the drug in question will do for you, then the second half will be all the side effects.

Last time I was over there I saw one for a drug to treat Fibromyaglia which featured a family on a boat in a peaceful river, with a woman smugly staring into the distance, whilst the voiceover proclaimed that this medicine could lead to the shits, vomiting bleeding of the anus and possibly death.

'Murica.
I think they are hilarious. Most of them have lots of really bad side effects (that will kill you) but so far I've only came across one that could lead straight to death. Forgot the name of the drug though.

The best ones are when the side effects are identical to the symptoms you are taking the drug for. I remember ages ago I got prescribed Paroxetine as I was struggling with anxiety, looked through the side effects and the first one mentioned?

Anxiety.

Well what the fuck is the point of that then?

Meds is always a toss up between effect and side effect.

Im the same with my citalopram. They make me able to function in a daily environment. But the make me sleepy and depress the old labido. But i wouldnt be able to hold down a job without them.
Citalopram made me paranoid and felt like my heart was trying to escape from my chest, scared the life out of me tbh

Does make you just how much hidden damage pharmaceuticals cause, taking a pill to alleviate one thing just to make others worse

Codine fucks me hard, I had some in March before I had an op. I literally don't remember anything about a two hour drive to reading. I just somehow turned up at the hotel, I then spent two days in a semi delirious state in my room before I took the decision to get home and get to the hospital.

I've taken a buffet of painkillers in my life for Migraines. Paracetemol, Co-Codamol, Co-Drydamol, Codeine, even Tramadol on occasion. Have to chop and change because my body gets used to them and they stop working. Funniest thing is that Aspro-Clear works brilliantly. I don't know why, normally Aspirin doesn't do a damn thing.

Not gone as far as tramadol yet. But painspecialist says that mechanical pain. Bone vs bone isnt so good with pain killers. So o get them and take them to help me sleep and relax rather than control the pain that they dont do. But docs will keep prescribing as long as it doesnt show abuse. Ie 100 tabs in a month or something silly

Was on Tramadol for 2 months after my back injury, still take them if it get painful. Never found them at all addictive though. Take them if bad, don't bother otherwise. Pain Nurse told me they were highly addictive and I would suffer from withdrawal (night sweats, cramping and stuff). Brand name of the tablet I'm occasionally on now is Zaldiar which is Tramadol (37.5 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg). Guessing that is relatively low dosage.
Only stuff I was on that made me light headed and a bit spaced out was morphine solution.

Isn't Tram man made opioids? Anyway, codeine or the lack of causes headaches which is awesome that I was prescribed it for mine and now can't do without.

Yay!
