Another roomie has evidently gone to the cops about the incident(threatening thingy etc) and today informed me that i might be asked as a witness. Told him alright, will tell the truth if asked. I don't really have a choice in the matter so will go with it.

e government suggests we should see these changes not as cuts, but as incentives. So a reduction in disability benefit is an “incentive to seek work”, and removing housing benefit will “encourage” young people to pay their rent, just as if the Government sent someone round to families on benefits and set fire to their pets, it would provide an incentive to choose animals that were a bit more flame resistant.

I don't see a problem with the budget. There is plenty of work about, in most areas there is no excuse for not working. Obviously there are areas where there is fuck all about they should be looked at separately but on the whole good stuff. I am glad I am paying Johnny layabout less money.

Yeah, it's a terrible idea that one. It may mean they'll have to get off their Moms old sofa, stop watching Jeremy Kyle and get a job at McDonalds .. or sell crack.

As a supertory, I agree with the principle, but there is no denying that cutting benefits increases the rich poor divide even more, it's basically saying only people with get up and go have any place in society and the two max children benefit is common sense with more than a hint of social engineering.
Limiting birth rates for the poor is eugenics and the Nazis ran on that ticket.

I been paying rent since i moved out of house with my parents why shouldnt they. Would give them a more legit thinking when they claim the house is theirs over the this is mine how dare they tell me to move. Even though the tax payer has been paying their rent for them.

Its not limiting the births. Its saying if you cant afford it dont have them. Which is the same principle anyone working and paying for their own family has to abide by anyway. They are being generous in saying we will help support two kids if you cant afford it so you can have a family if your poor but not a huge one. Which is fair enough to me.

Doctors aren't all what they're hyped up to be, same as nurses. Lot of stress, need to be assertive, health is always an issue on everything you do and you'd be twice lucky if they have the energy to have a boink more then once in a blue moon.
