Decided to try something new. Usually take my insulin right before bed, started taking it around 1-2h before bed(essentially moved the rotation 2h).

Now it's just a part of the day and not the last thing i do before going to sleep, very liberating. Though the downside at the starting phase is that now i'm laying in bed thinking "did i take it?"

I did that with my tablets. Taking them in the day rather than at night. Means i dont have to remember whenim pissed. Lol. But seriously. Means its easier when you get up and get it out of the way

Anyway - I can't PM @Job for some reason. But I want to ask him a question so I'll do it here:

I've got to get a new oven in my rental property. Free standing gas jobbie - direct replacement for the one I've already got. Attached by a screw-in cable behind the current one.

Question is - can I fit it myself or do I need to get a plumber out? And if I need to get a plumber out then how much should I be paying for a job that'll take him about 20 minutes?

I'll take the old oven away and stick it in the tip myself so he won't even have any moving to do...

You can fit it yourself but would need to get the work signed off as compliant by a gas safe engineer as its a rented property. Most probably offer the service at a flat fee.

If it was your own to live in then no sign off is required.

I'm so split on this topic to be honest.

In one aspect they're coming back with extremist ideologies, and could influence others to act in a similar fashion.

But that being said, they're running away, so they clearly don't like what's going down (You can't really expect them to) and also, they easily could be reformed in youth offending places and such.

It seems quite unfair to do this to someone, I mean, two kids that killed a baby, we allowed them to reform and release them back into society.

The system seems to be skewered, in the case about the two kids (forget their names) the Government or the System says no, no, they've done their time, so therefore we release them into society.

In this one the Government seems to be going against that.

Fucked if I know, kids do stupid shit, it's just about the moral compass, and it'll ruin your life :/

Also - What about the IRA? - We have people in our government which are former members of the IRA, we didn't tell them to go back to Ireland.

You can do it legally yourself, but if anything goes wrong the courts will have a very dim view of your actions...once you get a yearly gas check then you don't have to worry, but if you do it yourself then check the safety features on the cooker and make SURE it has a chain to stop it tipping over.
It's not about just connecting the bayonet fitting, a gas engineer has to check all the safety features are working.

I really do feel like we're heading back to a Victorian mentality - deserving and un-deserving poor - People are free spirits that they form theirselves, they pick and chose what they do. There's no environmental impact etc.
