Just watched WW2: Lost Films.

A load of colour footage taken during WW2. All from an American perspective but none of the usual America, Fuck Yeah stuff. Really well put together. Pretty graphic at times but really goes towards showing what an utter waste of life war is.

I don't even know where to start. Killing the animals quickly and as painlessly as possible is A Good Thing for numerous reasons. One, the meat from an animal killed quickly will taste better. Two, let's not make said animal suffer needlessly eh? Three, an abattoir is a business at the end of the day, quicker, cleaner deaths = higher productivity.

Taking 5 attempts to slit an animals throat with a blunt knife pretty much smashes those 3 reasons and it IS horrific and it IS animal abuse.

I never claimed killing animals fast isn't a good thing, i said in very clear english that this isn't some horrific animal abuse.
