It's not mate they are showing the prices based on 2 year contracts during the announcement. It's £539 for the iPhone 6 16gb and £619 for the 6 plus 16gb.
How can It be so much cheaper in the US?
Ah right, yes that makes sense, my 5 was £120 on contract, thanksIt's not mate they are showing the prices based on 2 year contracts during the announcement.
That screen seems seriously dated. I thought sub 1080 was something consigned to history?
...also, guffaw at the 8mp camera
As for cloud storage, welcome to 2011
Horses for courses though, retro is sometimes nice.
That is the PPI argument all over again. Over a certain number and your eyes can't tell the difference so there no point in putting a epeen 1080p screen in an iPhone when nothing actually runs at 1080 because you can't fucking see it.That screen seems seriously dated. Fucking lol. So what was all the hoo-har about the Retina screen about then? That is the PPI argument all over again. Because it is a good thing just because a bunch of celebs fell for a phishing scam does not make iCloud a bad thing. A product is not bad because you don't know how to use it. Also several of them are using Android phones too so it is not all the evil Apple it is people who fell for a scam.Mentioning iCloud as a good thing.. Top lel mate!
Good to see Apple finally caved in and added an NFC chip. Hopefully the technology will spread out a bit now. Long overdue!
The retina screen has always been about hitting the amount of pixels your eyes can see. So the 6 plus is now big enough to have a 1080p screen, the 6 is not so no 1080p. It is not complicated if you just forget the pointless hate.Fucking lol. So what was all the hoo-har about the Retina screen about then?
phishing scam

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just crept up to 515ppi so surely that's the true retina display?...there must be at least 477 pixels per inch in a pixelated display for the pixels to become imperceptible to the human eye at a distance of 12 inches (305 mm).
Not when you cant see 500ppi that is just epeen fluffing. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just crept up to 500ppi (I think), so surely that's the true retina display?
And that woud be the case if they were all Apple and iCloud accounts but the FBI investigation last time I read about was across all 3 major brands and was focusing on a Phising Scam not a brute force. But that may have changed. But I do know the one I wanted to see the most which was the bird from Chuck and she is not using an iPhone.Wasn't a phishing scam - it was brute force because apple didn't have the basic "3 times wrong password = have to wait 30 seconds before you can put it in again, 4 times wrong = 2 mins, 5 times wrong = 10 mins etc. etc. etc." or simple lockout that every other company on the planet clued to about a decade ago.
A bazillion password attempts by some automated program later and hey presto! password guessed.
101-security fail.
JELLY!Not when you cant see 500ppi that is just epeen fluffing.
And that woud be the case if
If the FBI release that is what happened Apple will have a PR nightmare as they released a statement saying that they were not hacked, which is why the FBI are looking Phising. But we will not know the truth until the investigation is finished right now everyone is throwing the blame at Apple with no proof. Unless I have missed the hacker saying that is how he got them all?Even if others were subject to a phishing scam Apples "security" was not just incompetent - I think it bordered on criminally negligent in this day and age.
Not quite...

Sapphire glass apparently. Everybody else uses Gorilla Glass from Corning in their high end handsets but Apple have gone a different way, "It’s about 10 times more expensive. It’s about 1.6 times heavier. It’s environmentally unfriendly. It takes about 100 times more energy to generate a sapphire crystal than it does glass. It transmits less light which it means either dimmer devices or shorter battery life."Don't get me wrong @soze I loved my iPhone 4. The iPhones are great and it is fucking bulletproof technology, even a monkey knows how to use it. I just hate all the bullshit software that Apple forced me to use. iTunes being a prefect example. Slow as fuck and crashed non stop. Same goes for making it personal. I felt like I had that exact same phone as any other guy, and the only thing I could change about that was switching my background. I talked my die hard Apple-fan GF into buying the Samsung Galaxy S5 and she loves it. She'd never go back to Apple she says.
On another note; What is the screen made out of? I heard about a year ago that Apple had bought a company which produced super sturdy, diamond-like glass, which was practically unbreakable, to use in the iPhone 6
You could have 100 pages about things you dislike or disagree upon, soTwo pages of iphone talk by people who dislike iphone

eep, wrong! It uses ion-infused glass apparently.. Which is basically Gorilla GlassSapphire glass apparently.
