That bounce by the ounce thing, to me as a dirty foreigner, looks like a video of really regular(albeit rather quiet) club night somewhere in time when haddaway was popular. I don't get it :p

Near Northampton but I don't venture into town unless I absolutely have to. I think the last time was when I got new glasses before Christmas.

If everyone could teleport, you'd recon it'd make a sound when you teleport away and then arrive? Like.. *poooooof*..*bling* (elevator sound) * explosion sound * or just completely silent. Perhaps a windy sound?

Vacuum really as the air fills the hole left. Not sure how big of a sound though, then ofcourse a reverse airflow when arriving.

I'm thinking a woompf, or a bamf.

It really depends on the air humidity though, doesn't it. A very dry environment could easily lead to friction as air moves in, thus electrical discharges. Like in the movies and such, little sparks, more like tiny crackles.

Its not so much the pop of air as you teleport out, its the gigantic boom and mushroom cloud as you teleport in to a space that's already occupied by atoms...

Simplest solution to that problem is to just "swap" the atoms at the source and destination. In that scenario there would actually be no sound as there's no air displaced at either location.

Is it not rather obvious if you could teleport people and they subsequently died..all you would have to do is run the teleporter buffer bank (star trek) and make another one..a bit like a restore point.
