or if someone pulls out in front of you, or if the car in front comes to a stop without braking, e.g. if they hit the car in front of them...
always is such a bad word to use for something like that. mostly or usually, yes, but not always.
I agree on the first part but the second I don't. One of the things they do in crash for cash is disable the break lights. Then they pull off at a junction before swerving back in at the last second and slamming the breaks on. But as there is no light and they are coming in from beside you it is very easy to hit them.If someone pulls out in front of you it's not a rear-ending. However, your other scenario, for example - someone on a motorway hits a car in front and you rear-end them. It's *your* fault.
Your job is to allow safe stopping distance.
I also have little sympathy for people who get caught by crash-for-cash. If you'd left safe stopping distance in front of you then they could slam on their anchors as hard as they like and you'd still stop in time...
If someone pulls out in front of you, there's a very good chance you can hit the back of their car, especially if they're changing lane and pull in front, but also if they're coming out of a junction, depending on the speed involved. If someone pulls out in front of you it's not a rear-ending. However, your other scenario, for example - someone on a motorway hits a car in front and you rear-end them. It's *your* fault.

if the car in front displays brake lights, then yes you should have enough distance, but if they stop without doing so, as in my example, then you can't really do anything as you can't tell they're stopping until it's too late, and a collision is unavoidable
Howsabout if you're on a normal B-road (one lane each way), and some muppet overtakes you on a clear bit of road but then suddenly loses their nerve about passing the car in front as well (which you're a proper distance behind) so he brakes suddenly and tries to slot in in front of you but then, in the same instant, the car in front of him is slowing because the car in front of him (bear with me) has slowed because there's a cyclist (lol) so the car who just pulled in in front of you brakes more and you go into the back of him? HUH?If someone pulls out in front of you it's not a rear-ending. However, your other scenario, for example - someone on a motorway hits a car in front and you rear-end them. It's *your* fault.

Can we have a tell everyone what they should think thread please where Scouse just talks to himself?

I hope he enjoyed his career while it lasted. It probably won't make the blindest bit of difference but... that's bad.
I'll miss be able to walk around my flat naked all day![]()
I don't think any of his milkers care.
I don't accept that one bit. You don't need break lights to understand that a car is slowing down. You can easily tell, broken break lights or not.
I stand corrected on the crash for cash stuff tho. I thought it was just some mug breaking in front of you - and break lights or no you can easily tell when a car is breaking...
possible, supersu tries to retain root across updates but it will depend how you rooted. If I install the new OTA Android. 4. 4. 3 will I lose root?
Do it...Ok thx. Will delete update from the cache as my laptop is knackered and cant re-root if I lose it.
Hmm... after deleting it from the cache im still seeing the "touch to install" notification after 2 reboots.
