I know one company who did and they wanted to go back. As it is all online if you lose Internet Access you lose everything (I assume there should be a way to store your documents offline). So the other week when BT cut though their internet cable they had 50 people sat there with no documents and no email.Anyone ditched Office in favour of Google Docs?
Experiences? How was it? Any obvious issues?
You'd probably be fine for non urgent plain layout things. Having used word for years I find Google docs to be limiting in terms of choice personally. Maybe use Google docs with drive on your PC to ensure connection errors don't hinder you with a copy of LibreOffice as a backup?Well my use of Office is rare anyway: covering letters, CVs, anything formal that needs a written response.
I'm all for the cloud, but I'm not sure i'd bank my productivity on it. I'll uninstall Office and see how I get on!
Ditched the new shit office for office 2010
Well um it depends how large these things are in relation to the original frame-size... but megapixels would do it (just think of a 12 or 15mp photo and then imagine that going at 25fps or whatever). Of course with movies you have to factor in compression and motion blur and whatever...... Why am I thinking so much about one of Lamp's airy-fairy questions?![]()
You've never been up north have you......Either that or the ugliest woman I've ever seen.
Wouldn't do you foot any goodI have often watched rallying and wondered how there were not more people hurt when they stand so close but still RIP to these poor buggers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-27651504 I cant say it is something that appeals to me even less now.
