Tbh I may have been a bit unfair - we have some decent younger players and if they actually play as a team could exceed a lot of the earlier England performances but there's still deadwood like Terry and non-performers like Jagielka.

Woy should have rebuilt from the ground up - if not for injury we would have seen the disastrous lampard/gerrard combo...

2 years is quite a long time football wise though..

We took about 10-12 players to the World Cup in 2010 that we aren't taking to this summers euros.. that says quite a lot ...

Some times it isn't about the quality of the players in competitions like this... (Greece 2004 and Denmark)

To be quite honest I would rather have Championship players that make the effort over Premiership players that turn up for the sponsorship opportunities. Lose and play with passion > Lose and look like a pub team down at the park, as per the last world cup.

Well, that's because all our players are great at their club, but in the national team... doesn't seem to work.

We do have the best player of the premier league, holland league, greece league, french league. But we struggle against every fucking team.

England were scrappy tbh, I wanna see England be really shit at the Euro, and in the next World Cup, and make a proper attempt at the Euro & World Cup after that, then rinse repeat, I'm sick of seeing the same players being played for the past what? 6-7 years? - Get the yout' in, Chamberlain had a good game to be fair, he had 2 good chances, and he moves around like disco stu.

Denmark beat Australia 2-0, but we're still faar from where we should be, and I'm just not seeing
them going through the group stage. if they can re-find the form they were in at the end of the qualification then sure, I dont see why not. But with only 1 forward and Eriksen playing at 80% ?
