Only this time he changed the game positively!Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeo. Game changer.
Zenith said:After a horrendously game versus the Ukrainians, this was some game. Our fucking defense on the last two goals were seriously lacking. Atleast we both offered an open game.
Olof Mellberg AKA Beardy Viking, our central def, had a beasting game. Last championship for him.
Any other Swedes share their thoughts?
That was a great win last night. The will to win was incredible and shows there is more to football than pretty passing patterns. Good to have a coach in charge that isn't afraid to make changes too. The problems with the squad were inherited from his predecessor and can't be laid at the feet of Roy.
That game last night has already surpassed the level of enjoyment England offered in South Africa.
woah what a pass
Why is Mark Lawrenson such a bellend?
Seen it again and I agree Gerrard was a selfish prick taking that of the Oxs foot.
France are very good, we didn't get ripped apart at all? we did play an extra midfielder that match though. We scraped a win against a very average team, we didn't hold on to the ball enough and we will get torn apart by anyone decent. Woy did the best with what he had and played it right.
Glad of the win obviously but I don't see any progression at all in the last few years.
I can not disagree with that he had a great game it is just the one incident i was slagging him off for Him and Parker are a good duo.He played well all game, but if you *must* find something to hate about him...
The England team played well to their rather obvious gameplan. Carroll, while not being the well-rounded played, is lethal on the head. If you guys can find the discipline to own the midfield, you'll do decent even in the playoffs

I think they rely on Zlatan far too much. They would look like lost sheep without him.Is it just me thinking that Sweden are better off without zlatan?
Thoughts on tonights games?

Yeah he would of made more sense behind the Striker than Young did against France. With Rooney back we might go back to 4-2-3-1 so he might get another chance.Whilst doing a great job I actually think he's still a bit wasted where he is.
The best bits of his play are around the front of the opposition 18 yard box. He needs to be further up the field, not in front of the back 4 and dropping back to pick up the ball so much.
Bleh, all the remaining group matches are on at the same time.. 19:45.. sucks for tv viewing
Tomorrow we can either watch Denmark v Germany or Portugal v Holland or keep flicking between
