Tbh this sort of thing never works out (even if it was serious).

My grp met a mid grp this evening, we hesitated, they did not so we died.

Next run we met a different mid grp, they hesitated, we did not so they died.

Mids then go after various towers in Emain.

Apart from that all the hib generals are giving out kill mid missions so makes it hard to focus only on albs

Actually, i'm pretty sure its to stop people from flooding other people's chat and making it harder for them to play.

I.E -> if your fighting someone and another person is emote spamming, you won't be able to see what is happening during the fight and this is why it is primarily a bad thing.

99% of the emotespamming happens to people who are dead on the floor + i can't think of ANY situation where flooding someone's log will be beneficial in any way while you have other stuff to do.

Ok, let me say it for you in simplier terms.

Harassment is stated as:

That's part of it anyway.

Ok, now if your dead on the ground and someone is emote spamming you, you could miss many things:

- yells
- death messages
- other people's combat messages.

etc.

If you cannot see these due to spam, your quality of gameplay is being lowered.

The same applies, even more so, for combat:

- styles
- spells
- damage taken
- other people's combat messages

etc.


I highly daut spamming an emote 10 times blows up the server, even if Mastade said that in a jokingly way. However, i did feel the need to say what I think is the reason emote spamming is such a heavy offence.

lol? if ur in an fg fight i find it impossible for someone to keep up with what the info section of the chat window reads as its coming through so fast let alone notice someone emote you?


only thing i can think of is playing stealther 1vs1 and ur in wolf mode and u goto read for wen u evade but thats just silly?

...or it's just that spamming emotes is classed under grieving, and that's why its bannable. flooding chat logs, comedy gold
