From what I have seen so far, against anyone other than casters my damage has increased.

But, caster damage has taken a massive hit no more 1300 crit shots, highest i've done so far is 900 and that was against a scout.

Found...and 'raped' enough archers. Only lost 1vs1 to an archer from Izasku... but i guess i should have used my SL and not let him take advantage of his superior mos to get 3-4 arrows first (tho he did need IP and FZ+bow to get the jon done). So basically... 1vs1 archers r kinda ok for assassins (i found out that v few use IP too, or maybe its usually down cause of iRvR).
What sux tho (but aint something utterly new) r the odd ranged adds while fighting (sux more cause u can'y see the arrows most of the times). Things just got a bit worse cause of many (mofo) archers roaming a small area... (still 10k/hour solo makes it viable i guess).

Duo all you want, I just dont see the need of adding on me after I just finished a fight with a hunter and a warrior (you still died though ), or the need to use your insta DD just to get a db on me when I'm zerged down by hibs.

haha yeh, i mean the dmg the archers did to US servers is still on going.. it was a stupid overthe top patch.. but ofc since your a hunter is ofc a much needed patch and nothing in wrong.. maybe a less biased view next time eh m8?

I admit its a very biased PoV - but then again after playing hunter since day 1 and seen nerf after nerf after nerf to the archer community in this game, Dark Age of Castalot, its about bloody time we got a plus, so yes, while 1.88 is here and until 1.89 comes out, i will f*ckin RELISH the dmg we can do

dark age of castalot died when the tank/light tank love hit along time ago.. the archer love was sick.. even the nerfed version on US is to much, its the only making me not want to ding my chanter.. is the fact i cba getting 2 shot by something i cant even see.

Its a good change imo. Things will die down soon and those FotM archers will soon tire of the grouping and zerging. But those who chose this class from the early days really needed the change. I love the fact that we now can happily fekk up the casters that run around with brittles up and add on everything. It used to be that I would only take them on if I had everything up, but now I can actually take revenge on those wallys that added from range without worrying that i need to dump everything to deal with their moccing crap. And tbh, those scouts and rangers that spec high bow and MoS5 are so tasty as they sook in melee and make my day.


Speccing reasonable bow and high melee still makes us viable. Going full bow means that the idiot is ignoring the fact that archers have other properties besides just standing in the trees shooting anyone in a fight at distance.
