Does neat dmg, but the casting time is what makes it so nice often allowing you to get the initial interupt in and just nuke away till it dies at your feet. Eats through mana now though

i'd say higher resists decrease cc duration as well but as someone that doesnt come out without 3fg it's probably a waste of time

If I had a week off, it wouldn't be spent playing easy classes, "trying to prove it can be done" There's nothing great about playing in training mode, hitting manequins.

yes, a healer have 450 hp more than you, and 17% more absorb.

when pe fights a rr8+ mid grp we usually pop 1bof to tip balance in our favour, the 30 secs near melee immunity it gives is a 95% certainity of winning, sos is saved for other GG's adding and the such.
we can usually have 1 bof for each fight vs guild groups, this is on prydwen tho mind.
when i said that sorc=healer, i meant cc wise
a good sorc should win 80-90% of CC duels vs mid groups cuz of the bolt range mezz.

Heh if you win with just 1 BoF vs a good fotm mid group I say gratz cus imo its impossible. Any insta mezz/stun on the sorc and they will instantly get 2 savages + warrior on them. Now even with BoF the sorc is taking huge amounts of damage, maybe pulls of a qc mezz and str/con debuff. Any one of the savages or warrior purges and now the sorc is in big trouble, maybe use 2nd QC ra and try to root. However now the savages mezz is almost over cus of det 5. You get some distance and try to root them but savage insta taunt interupts you, so you try and run again but now the skald is no longer mezzed and snares you and your back into melee range again.
Meanwhile your clerics cannot heal except for instants cus of asd, a good mid group will not let either of the clerics cast 1 spell, unless all 3 healers are mezzed and none of them have purge ready. Even a healer being interupted by a minstrel or sorc pet can asd a cleric.
Finally the shaman provides a very nice spell to combat det 5; disease, something which alb groups badly need.

As I have said before with SoS up the fight is a lot more fun, the problem is albs rely a lot more on CC, a sorc has the ability to cast their strongest mezz even when under attack, but when that strong mezz is not much better than an instant (lasts 5 secs instead of 1 sec) the advantage is gone. Instead its mids who have the advantage of stronger healing power, more defense, and plenty of instant interupts.

Sidi set sux until next patch, only good part atm is the robe. Leggins and arms get 150 point ablative next patch making them pretty nice as well

Oh and gratz NP for a strong farm, I seem to recall meeting you a few times and every fight getting adds you save SoS for a hard fight then get adds and die anyway

It is NP that zergs Emain, running around in atleast 2fg setup, with backup less than 30s away at all time.
