It's simple really. Take an ideal setup from both realms.

The healers constantly spam the clerics and sorc with asd...thats the end of them but the healers can still heal whilst doing it...(spread heal only if they are complete nubs)

You then have a minstrel who can keep 2 of the enemies interupted if they are close together. So lets be generous and say that it takes 2 healers out of action for the whole fight worth of healing (never happens.....).

Now you've got a skald also for interupt and who can snare targets who are running away, and you have a paladin on defence for the alb group so the target he is guarding gets hit for about 25% less (dual wield rips through sheilds).

Now compare the damage output where 3 savages hit on average for the equivalent of around 5 mercs so the mid group has better damage output anyways.

Albs have less healing power
Albs have less interupts
Albs have less offensive power
Albs have bit better defence (25% better on sorc or a cleric) but nmind, that cancels out because we have to run with a cloth wearer in the group also.

Ooh yeah, we've got SoS (remember we cant attack with SoS up if mezzed but we can run around like headless chickens...and also it cant be fired if the mincer is mezzed). And we've also got BoF which gives us a 30 second headstart but as soon as that drops, the 3 savages on one target will drop it like a tonne of bricks, meanwhile all the healers have to do is run about cause they dont need to worry about healing yet, the mercs aren't after the savages, and the healers arent gonna get damaged while running and with a shaman farting them. Then the mids have PR which okay, gives them an extra healer unbuffed but who can PR himself etc etc, not as good as BoF/SoS buyt still a damn good RA.

But as many people have said in the past, a 30 minute RA doesn't count for every battle...

Agreed, most fotm mid groups are very easy compared to NP or JH, mostly cus they dont use a few crucial abilities, like asd on clerics all the time, and disease on tanks, or they assist on the wrong people.
