Craziest part of your post...Ordered 3 4k films from HMV 3 for £30:
Citizen Kane - Never seen.
Flash Gordon - Seen a few times many decades ago.
The Bridge on the River Kwai - Seen bitts and pieces but never watched it all.
Is HMV that disease from the 90s? What is this you speak of?Ordered 3 4k films from HMV 3 for £30:

It bloody well isn'tDay Shift - currently on Netflix - Brilliant movie.
Citizen Kane - Never seen.
Top Gun: Maverick, is a profoundly silly film which is equal parts irritating and enjoyable, which makes you feel even more irritated for enjoying such hokum.
Oh, and...
My wife, who wouldn't know a lighsabre from a lampshade, leaned over and said, "isn't this the plot of Star Wars?" She was not wrong...
That doesn't narrow things down much, there was a period where that was the plot of every other French film.It was 2 punky looking girls, broke into a house and tortured a woman. Any idea?
RRR (Netflix)
Hindi film. Off the scale bonkers from start to finish.
Really good film. I enjoyed it a lot.
Honestly, watch it. It's been part of the conversations we've had around here, but much more eloquently expressed. Not a movie, fail.
So this can be it. A general thread for all things filmy.
How about this one on the intelligence of writing in modern movies and TV shows?I mean the bloke just makes videos complaining about the exact same thing every time anyway

Yep, 100%. And his worries for the future strike a chord....and generally, he is right. Modern films are mostly hot garbage, we celebrate mediocrity because we are so used to dross.
Is it the one Netflix? It says RRR Hindi but the default language is Turkish? lol?
