Speaking of Finns it'd be nice to see Räikkönen back next year.

I wouldnt have started to build the track without a signed contract.... I can see things getting really messy here though if Bernie pulls out and the deal had been arranged and not signed.
Mind you, it strange that after all this time it hadnt been signed though

Just saw that today - very interesting :D He could be finding his way out of F1 quite soon if they start wagging fingers!

Of course there wasn't. Two things give it away. 1: Vettel sped up when Button was closing in. 2: Webber didnt look like a man who had won the race because of his team mates gearbox, he looked like a man who had won because he was allowed to win. He didn't talk to Vettel much and yet had a good coversation with Button. Plain as day really.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to not be put off by BBC team classing people as stupid (iirc) who would question team orders there. To me the fact that they covered it up and the subsequent media coverage makes me cringe more than the Felipe/Alonso incident in Hockenheim... and I'm a big Felipe fan...

No evidence and no reason to dispute a team orders claim there, especially with the gearbox bullshit (Renault might be a little annoyed there) ... sorry, I've just been getting more and more annoyed with the previously liked Red Bull team for their sheer hypocracy at every turn.

I too am a little annoyed with the face broken-gearbox and it made me laugh even more when Vettel tried to compare it with Senna in 1991. Vettel is an instantly more likeable person than Senna ever was but with only a fraction of the talent. Regardless, it's good to see Webber win.
Shame about Lewis' gearbox but he didn't make too much of a fuss about it and remained positive for next year. I particularly enjoyed him going to see Massa and making up. Felipe and Ferrari certainly appreciated the gesture and I think it shows that Lewis is definitely turning a corner in maturity.
Good solid second (championship) for Jenson which is well deserved, he's fought hard for it this year and his experience and maturity is paying dividends. It's not a championship win but it's still going to be worth a lot to have beaten at least one of the RB's considering their outright pace for the majority of the season.

Not an action packed race but not entirely terrible - was really hoping for rain to spice things up but we can't have it all! A dry race in Brazil? Whatever next! ;)
Enjoyed the Alonso/Button moves on eachother, enjoyed watching MSC moan like hell.
I'd say roll on 2012 but like many won't be watching any race that isn't on BBC. I might make an exception for the first race via "means other than Murdoch's arsewipes" to get a feel for the season and will certainly try to win some more tickets to the British GP ;)

No reason for Renault to be annoyed, the Red Bull Gearbox is designed in house.

Sky announced at the weekend a brand new channel for F1 will start airing in March next year. It will include all of the practices/qualifiers/races I would imagine some form of F1 specific news along with shwoing archived races/documentaries on the sport!

Sky have got Croft too from the red button and 5 live. BBC are only showing extended highlights of some of the races too, not complete reruns later.

I like that humphries fellow as well James I think it is.

To be fair to Sky, they really do know how to put a package together, granted for every Stelling and his panel, they have a Jason Cunty (pardon the spelling ;) ) and a fair few others that are complete utter garbage, but on the whole their coverage is superb!

Yeah I get Sky Sports anyway for the footy so I won't miss out. It would be nice if they both used the same team and split the salaries proportionately and Jake just had a different sticker on the back of his iPad to represent who he was working for for each weekend but it probably won't happen. Sky's continued use of Neville and Wilkins for commentary hasn't done them any favours tbh.

Jake will stay with BBC because of the olympic coverage next year. He'll figure fairly large in that coverage. After that, who knows. His Twitter username is Jakehumphreyf1 afterall.

OK he is fast as hell and came very close to winning multiple titles, but if Alonso can't even come 3rd in a Ferrari, I can't see the Iceman doing much in a Lotus. Please prove me wrong.

It really depends on if the Russians get bored of their plaything. Money talks and without Genii they have none. I bet Kimi is getting a lovely payday, he lost interest in simply being competitive when he won his title.

Shame really, raw talent wise he's up there with the best. he just doesn't have the Vettel/Schumacher/Hakkinen psyche to be a multiple champion.

Some people set their sights on an objective and once they reach it they lose their motivation to succeed because they believe they have.

Wheeee.

Grosjean signed at Renault ( Lotus ), which leaves Petrov and Senna out of a seat.

The amount of drivers searching for seats is crazy. ( I don't remember a period as crazy as this one for high quality drivers being out of seats ).
