Nice game(s) by Holland, I want to see them in the final against Germany; for now I think Holland is bound to win the tournament.

Though I wouldn't overestimate the quality France and Italy, we all know under what circumstances both teams got to the world championship final.

Here in Germany a lot of people would be just happy if Italy goes home to practice more team diving:

I think Germany will make it to the final, under Löw Germany has only lost 3 out of 24 games. And in two of the lost games, a lot of replacement players played.

Löw trained in Turkey and Austria, who are/might be next opponents, so he should know their mentality and how to beat them. Germany won against Austria 3 : 0 four months ago.

He said "Austrian players will run for their lives and we will hold against and beat them" ;-).

First time ever he said something like that in public.

No, I mean overestimate. Crap teams in my eyes, now even more than 2 years ago. Too many too old players and shit philosophy (defense over offense). How 35 year olds are supposed to stop Robben & co only the French and Italian trainers "know".

Beating Portugal first then Croatia/2nd from group A sounds manageble.

Germany went 120 minutes against Argentina 2 years ago and also against Italy, we will see what will happen when teams have to go full speed for 70 minutes and the Germans still run like Duracell bunnies (I know they will).

My desired final would be Germany vs Holland. That would be awesome.

Well if you are for the best team, you can pick one of these two, Croatia or Portugal for a final agaisnt Holand. Gemany didn't show any attitude or initiative on second game to be considered better than the other two.

It was intressting to see how the swe team managed without zlatan tho. Maybe now the "zlatan naysayers" (in swe) will finally realise how important he is to our team.

Zlatan was quality imo, his goal was well taken and his other work was pretty good, it was obvious compared with the 2nd half how well Sweden performed with him on.

He's full of confidence after he scored against Greece. The team certainly lost confidence after he went off, just like Spain after Puyol went off =)

But throughout the game I had a feeling Sweden were going to win in extra time. Well done to Spain finishing the job.
