I would define the greatest guild as a guild who was dominant FOR A SUBSTANTIAL PERIOD OF TIME, not just when x or y was OP. That automatically means it must be an alb group xD. j/k but bring on the whine, these forums have been really boring recently. That is why i woted for old PE grp.. most stabile good grp who was on the server for a longer period of time...

Exactly, this topic was for "the best GG etc.." not best setup ...which is why MM (imo) were alot better than PE, more spam/more carnage, they didnt just run about looking for leetist 8v8, they would attack zergs, not avoid ..if you aint already i suggest you watch the MM vid #1, Even for a PB grp, they did it very well, no other mid grp came close to them.

& if you did kill your fair share of zergs, dont think i seen your zerg spam once, or it was just mids you "pwnd" ...only time i seen a little spam off you guys was when hugging a tower or keep using reaver bomb in NF..never have i seen you guys kills a hibby zerg in OF & i was on almost everynight back in the day

Or maybe they had different play styles? PE players prob got more of a buzz from killing a good grp, rather than killing random RR1's and getting rps that way.
And there hardly better if in organised FG vs FG they were beating MM?

I meant by killing zergs that i had seen no other group from any realm do the same.

Whenever MM were out there i ALWAYS seen alot of spam by them, the same couldnt be said about PE affraid

MM played in the days when there was hardly any competing groups around. The majority of their RPs came from bombing large zergs by using a method never done or seen before on the server. Esp random people found it hard to adjust.
PE played in a time with more competitive groups out, so they had more opposition.

I'm not saying they wasnt a great group, But the question was, "Which has been the best GG ?"
And imo, the best isn't farming random zergs. Its who wins the 8v8 battles. I guess it depends on what your views are
on being the best.

Eclipse and Nolby Pride had "set groups" in same era as MM, with guild consisting of 8ish ppl.

Droood, Slanatea, Chantson and so on, and Lourker, Furball, Redb, Slayn, Bfr Lorelei etc.

Think Sotl, LoE/pbuck and PE bit later was a bit bigger then just 8ish players, might be wrong.

We killed _alot_ of zergs with our ADgrp. Funniest was when we wiped a mid relicraid by ourselves

And tbh, I've seen quite alot of spam from PE in my days

they were pretty much free rps as I remember it

not really mate ^^ Soul Pact had decent players, just not a regular setup. Quite a few left for AD so gw on calling your own guildies free rps
