As she said on the you're fired show - she asked those questions, but as PM on that task sold a record breaking £1.6million worth of stuff.

She sold fuck all as I recall, wasn't it Helen that pitched the seat/bag and got the order? Suzie was riding the coat-tails of others, just because your mate fingered her mate doesn't make her the winner! :D

why not?

As far as I could see she was the only one with a viable business plan (even if her figures were exaggerated). She is naive but who isn't at 21? I'm sure she'll manage on her own anyway.

Starting a cosmetics line with £250k is not a viable business plan.

Loved the bit about testing cosmetics starting from £100. I mean wtf. Can you get away with selling any old poison if it's labelled as organic ?

She has shown through what she has achieved that you can start one with no capital at all.

I wanted to Tom to win, and was pleased for him. However, his business plan didn't seem to matter. Alan Sugar loved his nail file and that's why he got hired. The whole process looks as if it was completely irrelevant and was just a 12 week trial for Tom to see if he was competent enough for Lord Sugar to go into business with.

Well I doubt Lord Sugar wants to be part-owner in a stall on Greenwich Market.

Yep, my sister made and sold soap for a while, just scented stuff. No testing, nadaa. She made quite a dcent profit at farmers markets iirc, people will pay a few quid for a ropey old bar of soap scented with sandalwood! :D

Right on the money. It was an irrelevant process, Tom already had the job because he had a working product that Sugar saw great potential in. What pisses me off is that they were supposed to be judged on the business plans they pitched which clearly wasn't the case with Tom, his chair idea has been done to death and the corporate services attached to it are a non-starter.

Well he clearly didn't want to have anything at all to do with the chair that Tom proposed.

I was hoping for something more...interesting, I guess. An orthopaedic chair, a plan to be a PA for "the common man", a plan to expand a market stall to encompass an entire planet and some online courses.

Where are the big ideas? Not that I really have one (my big idea is to import, tidy up and resell second-hand Japanese guitars) but you'd think a search for the best entrepreneur in the UK would come up with something less rubbish.

what a fucking fix... how is jade still in there? it became so obviously early on in the boardroom that azhar was going even though it should have 100% obviously been jade.

Some shocking candidates again, they always seem to hang on to the annoying fuckers and total imbeciles.

its not a vintage year for sure, no jim type character to liven it up. even though he was a bellend, at least he was good value.

half of their total was in remaining stock, how is that an achievement? i didn't really get it.

their was so much producer spin in the later stages of the episode to make azhar look like a total tool and that everyone hated him so it would make sense that he got fired, even though jade was complete and utter wank.

It's an achivement from £150 capital, they managed very healthy margains and even the cash numbers show a 200% clear profit. Her fault was total mismanagement of stock and she should have gone, she cost them the win.

The other team smashed it, mainly down to the ugly northern lass with the faketan, she probably delivered £250 profit on her own due to the way she sold and demonstrated. £600 in cash at the end of a days selling is bloody impressive.
