Okis possibly been posted before but i cant be bothered to read thru 11 pages at this time, sorry :) So, just wastched episode25 of Neon Genesis Evangelion and all i can say is wtf :s
Horribly confused after seeing that from what i understood i can decifer that:

A) They were all dreaming the instrumentality stuff

B) Shinji somehow destroyed the world and a new one was created from his thoughts/wishes, and that the people close to him are sort of analyzing him and others.

C) The last Angel has somehow messed with their minds and is making them think all this...

Someone please enlighten me :) Dont want ot move on to the pen-ultimate episode before i understand whats going on :p

First I hope you didnt watch this is english if so I fell really sorry for you

Have you watched 1, Death and Rebirth ? which is a recap of all the epps..
also the Movie End of evangelion pritty much left it to your own imagination as most anime ends do forexample what happens after Shinji returns the world back to normal? as the last scene in the move is Shinji chocking Asuka.
right but to answer you question from my understanding

a. It wasnt a dream, all the Angels are just differnt perceptions of what life could be or have previously existed.

b. The world was never distroyed as such.. but all the life was taken away and brought back to the source. and Shinji had the choice of what todo, and what would become the outcome(future) of the human face, would it continue living or would they make way for somthing else or would he change the reality for his own way(hinted when we where shown what life would be like if they where all at school normaly and Rei joins for her first day and Asuka and Rei have an arugment, I think repesents teh fact that he is used to this and in one way or another is part of his normal life)

Just finished watchin Elfen Lied. Higly recomend it :)

A totally wicked story, more blood and gore than Berserk...even tho it is supposed to be some kind of psychological drama. The characters are great, and i even had to watch the opening theme every episode, it just gets you in the right mood. And no, its not an anime that is always sad, its a prefect mix :D

Beats all animes i have watched lately, a must watch for animefans

I just watched elfen lied last weekend, was very good, I'm not normally into exceptionally bloody animes, but I guess the kawaiiness helped me with that :p Silly kouta, shouldn't of lied! x<

As for urotsukidoji, hmm, I've only seen them dubbed badly but still, I'd have to say they're all crap x< Many much better hentai out there, both in terms of plot/animation/tentacles ><

anime is a form of Japanese Animation I belive, manga isnt animated, ie a book.

Correct me if im wrong

Edit: For links etc, what are you after? Info or files to download?

manga means comic afaik?

anyway, if you like the bit child-friendly ones, get Studio Ghibli DvD back (download them first) you probably recognize Tonari na Totoro (my neighbour Totoro) if you watched some in your young days. They create the most enchanting animes imho, style is not fancy, no "weird" expressions (weird eyes, strange shift in style of drawing for a short period of time as you might have seen in other anime... btw what's the name of those things? ;p) i always enjoy watching anime from Studio Ghibli. Also depending on which kind of anime you enjoy (there's a dozen of genres) you can ask on forums or people who reads this thread ;-D

Some of the good Studio Ghibli anime's:
Princess Mononoke (get them in japanesee with english sub's)
Spirited Away
Tonari no Totoro
Kiki's Delivery Service

/edit

oh and the one you watched was Laputa, Castle in the sky. (really great one ;-D)

this link might help you (IMDB info on Hayao Miyazaki) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0594503/

Manga is the comics, Anime is the animations. The reason why many people get confused, is that there's a company called Manga Entertainment that releases Anime DVDs/Videos, so if you've seen one of their DVDs/Videos you'll see their nice logo on the side of the bow which merely says "Manga" and also a short 2-3 sec clip of their logo when playing too... clever eh? xP

Yep, whoever named that company was a genious :p
