This is going to be a Chinese Olympics level of audience management chicanery to make the figures look good. The numbers of foreign fans will be miniscule but every TV cut will be made to look like there's a billion Brazilians in the stadiums, and of course Trump will be proclaiming it as the best World Cup in the history of everything.

Crossing the border on this one, haven't kept up at all with the SPL season, it's a tad boring after all.
But hearing yesterday that Hearts were in with the shot of winning the league last night, it piqued me to keep tabs on it.
The clear level of bullshittery that happened is virtually mirrored by the last few weeks of Premier League, absolute favouritism in making sure a result is made.
That's three vital matches, all in the death throes of the the games ending, and crucial decisions have all gone in favour of the stronger team.
While Hearts may have what it takes to get a result, it's shocking, but naff all will be done about it.

Soooo...Spurs or West Ham for the drop then? West Ham are in the worse position but Spurs have Chelsea and Everton and I can definitely see them losing to Everton, but who the hell knows with Chelsea? West Ham have Leeds, which is winnable, especially with nothing to play for. I guess if I had to bet, then Spuds to stay up, but I really don't know.

It hinged on that Newcastle match yesterday, for me. If West Ham had won that then Spurs would be fucked, despite it still being "in our own hands" (a dangerous position for Tottenham to be in at the best of times).
Leeds are on a fine run of form - they haven't lost since the start of March (and they haven't lost away since the start of January) while Spurs need a single point from their last 2 games against the 2 teams with the worst form over the last 5 or 6 games except for Burnley and Wolves...
I'm infinitely more positive than I was before that game yesterday... but...
