Yep.

There's a certain 3 letter ackronym that's normalised ridiculously long stoppage times so scoring in the seventh minute of six minutes stoppage time is just par for the course nowadays.

This is going to be a Chinese Olympics level of audience management chicanery to make the figures look good. The numbers of foreign fans will be miniscule but every TV cut will be made to look like there's a billion Brazilians in the stadiums, and of course Trump will be proclaiming it as the best World Cup in the history of everything.

He doesn't care about football, he cares about cold hard cash. He isn't even pretending any more. The only way it doesn't work is if we pull the advertising revenue plug, and not watch it, and not buy any of the special world cup edition slop, too.

Yeh not going to happen. It is a cash cow that he/his family will milk until something radical happens which won't happen whilst everyone above the fans keep raking in the money.
