They defended for most of the game then got lucky.

But sad to see the man city fans causing hastle at the end though.

Got a feeling we might well get spanked tonight, even if we were on form we would struggle against Barcelona.

What a fucking idiot playing it right across the face of the goal.

Well, Chelsea have played incredibly well. 1 mistake and we are punished.

Barcelona haven't been all that, we've kept Messi & Suarez very quiet. Much of the game is heading through Iniesta & thus there is where the pass for the goal came haha.

Just one of those things, sucks they got an away goal from a simple mistake but Chelsea really stepped up and showed they can compete at the highest level tonight.

Real standout performance: Kante. Could've perhaps been slightly more positive going forward but he did a great job in the midfield.

Him was great throughout, shame those first two hit the posts.

Would have been nice to go to Barca with a 1-0 lead. Only thinking that because I see Chelski as an easier opponent for us later tho ;)

Are you implying Liverpool will not top themselves and throw a five goal lead against an inferior team?

'cause it's a game-changer.

And a farce.

Anyway. What's tomorrow's result gonna be? We're getting so many plaudits it's usually time for a down to earth bump. But I fancy us 2-0.

Liverpool are so grateful to Rafa they'll let us walk all over you, 4-1 to Newcastle. In all honesty I reckon it'll be tighter than people expect with us sitting deep as fuck to nullify the counter, but you'll still beat us 1 or 2 nil.

Oh and for the record, fuck VAR.

Urgh Everton, honest to Jesus. First half was good yesterday, lots of promising counterattacking even though once more our defence was concerning in both halves. Michael Keane is really struggling, not at all what I was expecting from him when we signed him, the amount of times he let his man go was hard to watch.

Ashley Williams, said it many times he can fuck off. How the fuck is this guy allowed anywhere near the first team I will never know he is a constant liability and is a shadow of himself, getting himself sent off numerous times through frustration shows his head is not where it should be.

Sam needs to go, but I am slightly concerned Everton are lining up a swoop for Arteta for manager. This has to be the biggest load of bollocks I have heard. Yes, let us get an unproven manager in who will know doubt have the Gary Neville effect. We have the money, we have the team (Who are in disarray) - Get a manager in who can manage the players to their capability, we have m(b)illions now, get a good reputable manager in, I wish we could have got Tuchel in when he was on the cards before Allardyce

Liverpool are looking good for a top 4 finish. It's between us, United and Chelsea for the last 2 places. I think we look good because we're now 5 points clear of the rentboys but we still have to play them and City. These predictions are quite encouraging though.

I think it's much closer than the prediction - if we beat the mancs then I'd feel a lot more comfortable, but if we lose it's wide open again. A draw is so so.

Remember Lollerpools unrivalled ability to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory :)

I suppose its possible that United will drop 14 points out of 30 when they only have two difficult games, but it doesn't feel that likely; it would definitely be a drop in form. I just hope to fuck Mourinho actually lets his team pay football against Liverpool and City. The City game is the game before they can take the title (that's against Spuds the week after) so it would be nice if they gave them a game. Probably won't though.

Are you thinking about Arsenal? I just woke up but if you're not, I don't get the "14 points" reference. Don't forget that Arsenal would actually have to start accumulating points at a rate of 3 per match, every match, to trouble the top 4. I wouldn't be surprised if Burnley gained on them tbh.

I think your lot will turn up against 'pool and City exactly as they have against pretty much every other top team (and several of the lesser teams). You beat us away with a (somewhat) lucky goal from Martial but I remember the furious tutting from United fans when you went away to Liverpool and did the whole "Mourinho" bit and then we played them at home a few weeks later and beat them 4-1.

I'm actually really looking forward to our home match against City, it should be one of the better matches of the run in.

My mistake, 12 points dropped. The prediction link in your post had United finishing on 77 points. They have 10 games/30 points to play for and are currently on 59. Hence, 12 points dropped.

Oh right, I see where you're coming from. Tbh, like @Scouse, I think it's much closer than that table suggests. Two points between 2nd and 4th but any of those 3 teams are capable of losing to any of the teams that they having coming up, especially when those threatened with relegation start playing for their Premier League lives.

Yeah. The table's a crock tbh. Mancs beat us and our mentality changes totally. It's a must win for me.

We will end 5th, we just don't have the goal scoring to get higher atm.
