I was discussing on Saturday that I still think Leicester will do an Ipswich and get found out then go on a losing spree and finish mid table. I just don't see them keeping this up.

which of the two games would you rather win? League or cup?
League.

I reckon they're 1 or 2 injuries away from falling away completely. They've conceded the joint most goals in the top 13, if Mahrez of Vardy get injured or they just lose form they are fucked. They won't win the league and they won't finish in the European spots.

Yeah but he could have scored one but passed instead to a slightly better position (which went in) complete forward!

Is the EPL just utterly shit?

"B-but muh close competition..!", yes but what good is that if every British team is fucked over before reaching the final 8? City is the only British club secured in the final 16 by now, and they are currently struggling against Gladbach

One of the most entertaining leagues due to the competition, most other leagues have very little real competition throughout the whole league but that doesn't mean the best league in terms of performance when it comes to playing in Europe.

Group B. :|

Haha, I made the post after the Wolfsburg own goal. Now they scored, this is mental.

United were fucked, then they were through because CSKA scored, then they were fucked again because PSV scored, then they were through because of the own goal, now they're fucked again. Let's see what happens next!

Ok, now they're double-fucked; PSV scored again. So United need 2. I don't remember such a topsy-turvy last night in a group.

2 teams, top of their groups. Not sure if serious. (And nobody cares about British teams, such as whatever teams were or weren't in it from Scotland)

It appears that Madrid's Rafael Benitez has equalled Rafael Benitez's record with Liverpool.

Though Besiktas were a tougher team than Malmo ;)

Aw, Monk's gone. That's a pity (however inevitable it was given their recent run). I know Swansea were a bit shit but we need more young English managers, not less. One of the nicest firing announcements I've seen.

True, but really they ought to be learning their trade in the lower leagues.

Jumping straight into premiership management with such little experience will only end one way.

Yeah...so about that.

3 out of 4 teams through, 2 top of their groups.

He did ok last season to be fair.

He did but that was the general trajectory anyway, I am not saying getting rid of him was the right thing to do but I think he jumped too early and is now away from a club he loved and could have possibly done amazing things with with 5 or so more years experience as manager.

CL Draw probabilities. First scenario is where UEFA let's Russia play Ukraine and second scenario where that is not a possible draw:
