Your team getting smacked around for the best part of 90 minutes and somehow winning. :)
I've honestly never seen such a one sided game with the team on top losing, it was worse than the derby!

Norwich at the Bridge next week, every Chelsea fan's nightmare I imagine.

I notice Hodgson has said "Vardy should be happy to be in the squad, and even happier if he makes the team". Guess that means he is a last minute sub then and super scoring inform Rooney be teams hopes and dreams again :(

Vardy is having nothing more than on a hot streak. He is not the new hope for England and he won't be banging them in left and right in the Champions League next year for a top side

Wont be for sure if he is never given the chance. Wouldn't the sensible idea be to take him now while he is on a hot streak and help turn that into a constant form by giving him the opportunity and confidence to compete in multiple types of tournaments. As opposed to reinforcing Rooneys view that why bother because it doesn't matter how crap he plays or has played, he is auto going to be picked and become the star man anyway

He's actually a very good player. It's probably a mix of a bit of luck, manager belief and a side playing to his strengths.

He has good pace, finishing & movement, I fail to believe it's purely a hot streak.

If he went to a different club i'm not sure he'd perform on the same level though.

Your logic is so flawed lol, lets take any top player and look at their stats the season BEFORE they got noticed for doing well

Looking at the FA Cup schedule for today it looks like the BBC do a rather good job of having many FA Cup Live programs on today but actually not showing a proper full live game today.

Vardy is currently on a streak, it would require at the minimum a year to be anything more and just because he looks good compared to other English players isn't really say much either.

Before he got noticed? Three years back he smashed in the goals for Fleetwood Town, with 40 apps and 36 goals. If he puts those numbers up again I'll eat every word I said.

Fact is Rooney is picked because he has the experience. Experience from the big international scene, be it from the national side or in the Champions League. There is a difference between having a good streak a Leicester and being picked first for the English national team

Rooney has done almost nothing at almost every international competition. Its your type of logic that keeps getting him picked over and over again. His experience is worth nothing if it consists of failing and still being picked.

Out of curiosity then are we to stick with completely pointless at internationals Rooney until someone is consistent for a few years ?:p

So you very easily won your group and are now qualified for the European Cup next summer in France. 10 out of 10 wins is quite impressive, regardless of the opposition. Too bad Rooney hardly helped with his 9 goals...

Your the reason we always do crap, our managers too scared to make changes because the world filled with people like you who would flame them and who insist we keep trying with the same old players because NEXT TIME!!! we will win it!

In his defense, Hodgson is doing better than others at picking players from bottom half teams. I mean, Gary Cahill is there ffs.

Blimey I'm glad we played Villa before Garde took charge, he's making Sherwood look really bad right now.

They seem to be able to defend at least. Not sure about the goal threat

If Vardy was top class I am sure he'd been picked for the NT during the qualification.

And I don't see how as a Dane I can be the reason you always do crap
