don't blame for doing that, he basically ruined her career in sports medicine. I hope she wins to.

If the press reports of the last couple of days are to be believed then he has to go. The players are not playing for him, he's lost the dressing room. Problem they have is who can take over??

As funny as it sounds he might be a bad shout as an interim. Maybe they could get Ancelotti back in, or Tactical Tim. I'd like to think they will keep Mourinho until at least January though just because, if what I've seen about Fabregas is true, he can ceremoniously fuck the little shit off out of the club.

Anyway, United with the fewest chances created so far this season.

Er I meant he might *not* be a bad shout as an interim. If this is a movement by some of the players against Mourinho (as suggested), I can see them getting a lot better very quickly if he goes, whoever is in charge.

Brenda loves to flush money down the toilet too so should placate the "lets just buy success" brigade.

I'd say she's ruined her own career to be honest with you. OK it wasn't Jose's finest hour having a go at her, but at the end of the day, she just got shouted at a bit. Jon Fearn got the same treatment, and he's still at the club.

The initial fault was with Jose, but every single thing after that lies squarely at her door, and professional agitators like Heather Rabatts trying to create an issue that doesn't exist. That would explain why the only club interested in taking her on now are Charlton.

Fairly safe to say that if she'd kept her head down she'd still be at Chelsea, probably back on the bench again. Also fair to say, that if Jose was bang to rights, for the payouts being mentioned so far, the club would have settled ages ago.

There's a lot more to this than we are being told about, but to paint Eva as some sort of angel in all this, is quite clearly wrong.

And judging by the pictures from training today, Cesc's statement and JT's presser, the players are still right behind him. And someone may wish to get Robbie Savage some water for that burn JT's just applied to him (For those who haven't seen it, JT said he doesn't mind criticism from top level players who have won stuff, like Carra and Neville, but not from Robbie Savage).

You really think jt saying that about savage will make any difference or even worry savage at all.

Players should expect critisism from all angles and not get bothered about it. They will get it anyway if he accepts it or not.

Oh and i agree eva has been manipulated or been a willing participant in making it bigger than it was. It shouldnt have happened but it wasnt a gender issue.

But it was his continued comments about her actions in the days after that made her position untenable, in her view anyway. Most of his comments as detailed by the press were directed at her and not Jon Fearn, at least that is how it looked in the media. I'm not a big fan of the press having been personally involved in one story that was 99% bullshit and distorted to make it appear more than it was. Followed by a similar incident with that our close friends and neighbour went through.

The problem is now she probably cannot find work due to his comments in the media. So good luck to her imho :)

My thoughts as well, Savage gets a very nice living from his various TV roles. Not something JT is likely to ever get with the whole race thing hanging over him. Players get paid more than enough to take a bit of criticism from the press or pundits.

Lol, Jose only ever addressed his "medical team", so Eva and Jon Fearn. He made one comment after the game, then I believe another responding to why neither of them were on the bench for the next game. At no point was Eva mentioned by name, despite the media's best attempts to twist Jose's words.

Much like the rest of the controversy round Jose this season, it was blown out of all proportion.

I think it was the media that made it about her specifically and ignored the other fellow. No statement came from chelsea that i saw which named her solo

Don't trust the press so no major surprise, they twist the smallest thing and blow it up to sell a story, even if the story does not actually exist. The fact remains he was wrong to criticise the medical team at all who were called onto the pitch by the ref. For a man on his salary and with his role he should know better. Diverting attention away from players seems to be his weekly agenda.

Even if you ignore the fact that she is a Lady she can still do Chelsea for constructive dismissal. She was dropped from her position for doing her job. The black and white of it is she is a medical professional who was waved onto the pitch to help a player who had asked for help. For that she has been dropped. Unless Chelsea can provide a lot of proof that she was dropped for other reasons I think that will win her the case. She obviously felt there was no way back into that job role so she was being frozen out.

She wasn't actually demoted or dropped, just wasn't on the bench for the next game, her main job role was unaffected - unless of course that was written into her contract. I would have thought Chelsea's main defence will be that exactly the same happened to Jon Fearn - who is still at the club. I also know the club were more than prepared to welcome her back to work but she decided not to come back, for whatever reason. However she was never frozen out of the club, just different members of the medical team were put on the bench.

What's always intrigued me about this, is that if the ref's decision is final in terms of them coming onto the pitch, why didn't they go on the first time they were summoned? Why did they wait for the second request?

And yes, Jose is trying to divert attention away from the players, that's been his modus operandi for most of his career now. People do moan about it, yet keep focusing on Jose rather than the players. Seems to have worked as well, most of the talk since Saturday has been around Jose, and very little about how awful we were after Mikel went off.

Well, actually that's kind of the problem. The players are under no pressure to perform. Nothing happens if they are shit, they keep their place, they suffer no scrutiny.

This.

different members of the medical team were put on the bench
Why?

The fact is that her duty is to the players, not to the team. And her expertise >>> Jose.

So nothing should have happened. And the fact that something did is enough tbh.

How long had she been your first team / match day physio? Then yes she was dropped she was no longer your first team / match day physio. That is a demotion in anybodies language. And yes she was frozen out and she was offered (that we know of) no chances to get that position back. She may have been moved to another role with the same money but there are 20 premier league head physios of which she was the first / only female. To lose that over this is a definite demotion and it must hurt a lot. It is not her medical ability it is the fact the manager had a shit day and used her as an excuse.

I think it's you that's demoted her actually, as she was first team doctor, and not a physio, and as far as I'm aware, the only doctor to actually sit on the bench in the PL. She was one of 6 or 7 medical staff who could sit on the bench for us, and after her post on Facebook, he decided to use other staff for the next run of games.

We do know that she was given a chance to return as Jose himself said it wasn't permanent and both her and Fearn could come back in future. She was expected back a couple of weeks ago, but decided to send the lawyers in instead.

And I'm not sure I ever heard her being used as an excuse for drawing with Swansea. I recall Jose being asked why he was getting animated on the touchline at the end, he answered.

Fucking hell Ashley Young, what a terrible dive. Ball goes one way and he throws himself into the complete other direction to connect with a defender

There's being a supporter and there's being an actual fanatic...

And what is the short hand version of fanatic?

There you go!

Anyway we had our annual customer conference today at a posh golf resort just off Junction 19 of the M6. And who did I see having lunch with his family?

Brendan.

He looked a tad grumpy if I'm honest....
