He has just said the ref was weak and naieve again he is an idiot.

Or he could just have been trolling the FA - after all, it would appear given the lack of sanctions for Wenger after the Chelsea game calling refs weak and naive is fair game.

Managers generally get away with the odd outburst here and there. They only get sanctioned when they do it week in week out as a ploy to cover other problems and deflect attention.

It seems that Maureen doesn't want to draw a line in the sand and move on and will only be happy when he gets banned from matches making his position untenable.

He isn't trolling anyone, its not trolling if you are the joke. He is acting like a spoiled brat who has been found out and doesn't want to play any more.

When you do it after your team has actually been screwed and it is the only time you did it you might get away with it. When you do it after every game even when your team has not been hard done by you are going to get punished. He must be doing it on purpose now.

Basically, what you've said there is - they only get sanctioned when they are Portuguese people called Jose.

I didn't agree with his comments after the Southampton game, but I do agree with him (and the Club itself) that a 50k fine and suspended stadium fine is ridiculous, especially with the amount Wenger gets away with (you know, the bloke who started shoving Jose in the technical area with no sanctions). Strange how the FA's explanation of Jose's fine completely ignored the Wenger question.

I think we can all agree the FA are turning into a bit of a joke overall, and I'm glad we've got someone like Jose who is prepared to call them out on it. Unless you want the FA to turn into FIFA?

There is a difference between constructive criticism and doing what Jose does. He is not trying to right some wrong. The is making headlines by trying to undermine the Ref when his team does not win. That was not shocking refereeing last night it was a good decision as Cesc just kicked the defender.
He is just the worst kind of Parody of himself back when he was entertaining.

Jose is making a fool of himself but its stupid to go defending the other managers. I can remember years of Wengers "I didnt see it crap" whenever his players did anything wrong

There is a difference between that and throwing your toys out of the pram and saying you are being picked on. If he had genuine concerns with the FA or the referees then there are plenty of channels available to discuss any concerns, post match interviews are not that place.

I find them all to be big babies, or atleast almost all. Jose is just the worst of the bunch

I'm hoping the irony of an Arsenal fan complaining about another manager having a moan in a post-game press conference isn't lost on anyone else. We'll have the Man U fans on in a minute complaining about how Jose can be a bit of an arse.

It's not just the arsenal fans m8. All managers moan - but there's something very wrong with Jose at the moment. It's not just your ordinary manager moaning crap.

You do have to wonder whether there's something else going on.

I do know that his dad is quite seriously ill at the moment - think it may be terminal, not that Jose would ever discuss it. But I can tell you from experience, that can make even the hardest bloke lose the plot a bit.

Still, wouldn't have any other manager in the Chelsea dugout right now as I really don't think there's anyone better out there now Fergie's retired.

Feel sorry for him regards his father but still you would think he'd just let the issue go. Especially given the circumstances. Most managers get lippy post match and they often get away with it as being in the heat of the moment. It's a terrible excuse for someone that is paid a shitload of money to be professional. If CEO's of companies acted in a similar manner on TV, blurting out silly excuses for poor performance, they would be rightly sacked.

I am an Arsenal fan and would agree that Wenger does make similar comments although he does tend to be more diplomatic in his language and usually won't be drawn back to the subject time and time again. That is the difference. Jose is like a dog with a bone. In my view he is just deflecting so the team performance is not in the news as much as his antics.

Just seen Klopp's interview from earlier - must admit I do rather admire the cut of his jib. Clearly his own man, not going to take any shit from anyone, laying into the FA already and being generally completely off his head.

Gutted Klopp has went to Liverpool, but I'm happy to see him manage over here, he's such a good guy to watch on the sidelines and during his interviews. As for Jose I'm completely bored with him now to be honest, and I'm super tired of his man crush on Wenger. Fact is Jose is a super manager, but in order to be classed as a true great, he has to accomplish what Ferguson and Wenger have over a longer period of time, personally I don't think his management style lends itself to sustained long term success.

I can understand his jibes at Wenger about him having not won anything for so long, but the things Wenger achieved over the period he did was phenomenal especially taking into account the style of football they played and the financial restrictions they played within due to the new stadium.

Not until after Christmas, and I'd take Jose over Carlo any day of the week. Witness when we met Inter in the CL when Jose was managing them and we had Carlo, Carlo was completely out thought and looked stuck for ideas.

Don't get me wrong he's a lovely bloke and a good manager, but he's no Jose.

Few guys in work saying Bill Kenwright Evertons' chairman could potentially be terminally ill, especially as he hasn't also come out in regards to the Howard Kendall death. I know some investors were looking at buying Everton, an American firm but they were quoted something like £200m to buy the club, from who i don't know if Bill isn't up to it, but that seems excessive to line the peoples pockets rather than the club!

Watching the Liverpool game what a fucking idiotic tackle that was. 1-0 up, on a yellow, player going nowhere and you throw yourself in front of him? Pillock.

And he is supposed to be the captain of Kazan as well!

We play ok at least imo. Not the dreadful boring play as before, we actally try to score. Sadly all our players are on a scoring streak I could match :D Origi is icecold atm!

Why do half of Chelsea's team think that haranguing the ref after Matic got sent off is going to help?

Edit: good, some more yellows.

Well West Ham players did it before he got the yellow, one suspects there was a difference between what was said by the players to end up with bonus yellow cards.
