Zagreb player failed his drugs test. This has started the should they get docked points thing. Now imo this could be very harsh on the club. If the player has taken a recreational drug should the club be punished? Unless the club have told the guy to take performance enhancers then the club should be left out of it.

Disagree - if clubs get punished for individual infringements then it means that they take it seriously and will police it themselves.

That puts some of the cost of policing on the clubs - where it should be. The individual associations don't have enough resources to keep it in check. If the clubs don't get panned for it where's their incentive to field clean teams?

Depends on what kind of drugs it is. Recreational (pot etc) - a few games suspension without pay. Performance enhancing (steroids) - minimum of ten years ban from all professional football. If the club told him to take performance enhancers (if it can be proved) - revoke medical licence(es) for the medical staff involved, prosecute other staff/management.
IMO.

So we've got klopp. I predict we'll finish fifth - where we would under rogers. Basically down to us being the fifth richest team in the league.

Unless we spend on a couple of absolute quality marquee signings in January...

He might be the managerial appointment with the most pressure ever. Nobody is even entertaining the idea of him being a massive failure, despite his underwhelming last season with Dortmund.

But the difference is that Dortmund were a selling club.... ok never mind.

Sorry Scouse.

No one should expect too much of him this season. He's a very good man manager, but he's even better at spotting talent, but that's tricky in season. But I bet he get's more out of the likes of Coutinho and Benteke than Rogers did.

You should try watching Denmark. Our last three matches has resulted in three points and we might be heading off to playoff rather than an almost certain second place

0-0
0-0
0-1

No goals scored *sigh*

I really like this Klopp guy, it's about time there was a big manager who wasn't boring or a massive bell end.

inb4 Henry takes over Arsenal, that'd be fucking amazing.

Granit Xhaka to Liverpool please!

That would open up the possibility of a Xhaka-Can midfield :)
