We're free of Adebayor's nonsense! Released by mutual consent, it probably means he has some cushy number lined up in the Middle East or China but I don't care. He has become an absolute waste of a stupid amount of money. I know he's had his problems off the pitch with his family but he has acted like a twat for the last season or so and good riddance.

Wonder why he dose that now but refused to do it when West Ham wanted him? Just two months of wages gone.

I think he wanted to hold on for the payout from us. At this moment in time he doesn't seem to give a shit about playing football (not turning up for international duty and turning down opportunities from the likes of Villa and West Ham where he would've been nailed on to play every week don't scream "I just want to play the beautiful game" to me) so who knows what is going on in his head. I'm glad it's not our problem any more though.

So the greedy twat wanted the free transfer and the loyalty payout. He is unreal. I am surprised you have got him to agree to a termination unless you are giving him a few mil as well. He said last week he was happy training with the under 19s not the first team squad.

Hopefully Rodgers'll be out soon. He's clueless.

Was an awful match and crying out for two up front - especially when we went a goal down.

Fucking Ings on the left?? Why not up front with Benteke and Firminho behind them?

As a Chelsea fan, no idea what his plan is.

Keeps playing the players who are not performing, then just kicking off at something else to blame the result.

If things honestly don't improve I don't know if he'll stick about.

Press are talking about that again instead of the shit performance so it has worked perfectly for him.

very true, a good thing I guess is that he takes the flack by being a pleb for the players playing like shit.

Well it hasn't worked that well because they are still shit. He could perhaps be forgiven last season when it was the odd bad game here and there (They still won most!) The players are now used to being able to put in a crap performance and get away with it. They get picked regardless. He kept going on about how unlucky they were, they were not unlucky, they didn't turn up, terrible throughout, except maybe the keeper as it could have been 5 or 6 goals.

I think its a little early to be calling for his head but he does need to sit down with the squad and other behind the scenes bods (The medical team) and get it sorted out now. Something is definitely not right somewhere, if he has lost the changing room then he needs to get it back again, quickly.

Arsenal next for them in the league and on current form there is no way they will win that one. Then Newcastle away which I reckon could also be a struggle if nothing is changed.

I would imagine no serious discussions will be had until the group stages of the CL are done and dusted but Abramovich has got to be thinking "wtf".

No one can quite understand what has happened to Chelsea, whether you are a Chelsea supporter or not.

Well done, Newcastle. People have been bigging Chelsea up for a relegation scrap all day and you go and let a goal in.

To be honest, I'm loving all the fall out for Jose. He's always performed so well as a manager at all the teams he's went to, it's nice to see that he's going to have to work through not having it all his own way. That was always the beauty with Ferguson, despite having some tough seasons, he was always able to lift the same squad to go again the year after.

Jose has already cemented himself as a great manager, but to be classed as a true legend I think he knows he has to have some sustained success over a long period of time. It'll be interesting to see if he keeps his job if the performances stay at the current level. It should also be a warning shot to anyone trying to compare Hazard to Messi and Ronaldo.... Don't fucking do it until they've dominated their respective league for at least 3 years on the bounce!

At least, he did do that until he realised his same squad was past it and he bolted for the door. :)
