Yeah, perhaps I should have put a satire tag in...

(I think you can safely do that with any UTD transfer story these days)

So many Chelsea players have been disappointing compared to last year whether it be Hazard, Matic, Ivan, etc.

What he says and what he thinks aren't the same thing.

And United aren't going to get Neymar in a million years.
I'm not too sure why they would want him. He wouldn't make it here, his girly legs would buckle under him at every challenge.

It feels like players are making a bit of a mug out of Man Utd, using them to up their profile and wages. LVG needs another 1 or 2 strikers because Rooney is past his best (although his goal yesterday should of stood). Pato could be a good buy but I aren't sure of the strength side of his game, Benzema would be the best buy as a forward for any of the big clubs.

I forgot he existed to be honest. It looks like he has been destroyed by injuries. About a goal every other game in Brazil is not prolific. I think I remember Neymar getting nearly a goal every game one season.

Some strikers are just not suited to a club.

Spurs never played to his strengths, he scored about 2 goals of his 30 odd from outside the area. Yet spurs would constantly try get him to come and recieve the ball.

La Liga will suit him better.

It is also hard to believe Pato is only 25. Feels like he's been around forever.

Unlucky not to be 1-0 up at the Arse. Petr's kept 'em in it.

Liking the look of the team at the moment. Our fullbacks are excellent, the midfield looks good now that Lucas is in for Hendo and that Can is in for Lallana. Loads of balance.

Rogers'll flog lucas and it'll all go back to tits again.

Are you saying this might be your year...?

Couthino was fantastic, he looks the premier leagues best player so far this year, Flidminho looks a massive waste of money and Emre Can played really well last night, far more energy and desire than Lalalalalana usually puts in. But what that does is point out how much Rodgers has spent on the wrong players.

Edit - Ramsey wasn't offside either, the linesmen this year have been the worst I have seen in ages.

My mate is a massive liverpuddle fan but he can't see why Lucas keeps getting frozen out. He always looks great when he plays but then Rodgers just drops him for two months. Rodgers is a weird guy.

Lucas is exactly the type of player every team in the PL needs to do well, Rodgers may be a bit mental.

Agree with most of what you said there trem apart from firminho - he looked good for 50 minutes then ran out of steam. Would have had an assist for benteke but for petr's great save.

Maybe it's our year eh cokenose? ;)

It would appear that it is now confirmed that john Stones has handed in a transfer request.

I forgot he was playing, that assist for an almost goal surely doesn't justify what was paid for him. I know I'm being unfair this early on but it just feels like he will fade away much like Markovic, who cost how much again? Ballotelli as well, actually I'm going to go and find a list of Rodgers signings

Edit - Found one, he paid 15 million for Joe Allen!! What the holy fuck? Coutihno was a bargain.

He's spent over 289 million :/

Scouse will argue he hasn't...because...you know.

No. He'll argue that he's spent that, but sold a lot too.

Like we got 50 million for sterling and have paid out 80m on a shitload of players this year. Unlike the £250 millon that the mancs are thinking of spending on Neymar or the £80m that Chelski are thinking of spending on two players...
