That's the problem, the sum of their parts is basically Ronaldo. a very talented youngster in Sanches, a couple of good players and then some average players who are getting older (Carvalho is 38 ffs). Belgium is a team that's properly less than the sum of its parts though. Their team is absolutely full of talent (and Fellaini as well) and they're still probably not going to achieve anything at the tournament.

Yeah, as I said to my mate. What is striking about those highlights is not how good Chile was but how disorganized and crap the Mexico defense looked. And that was apparently after a 23 game streak without any losses.
