ADM will get the plaudits but really impressed with Herrera and Blind for us today.

Also a solid performance from Valencia, he only tripped over the ball once today.

Was an ok performance but hardly anything to write home about. A very poor opposition and was nice way to ease in the new players. We still looked fragile at times and he insists he wants his 3-5-2 and only changed due to injuries. Will wait till a real match to make any real judgement

Attack was impressive but defensively it was still pretty awful. Midfield looks much better and more balanced now, suppose it should with the mullah spent :)

Christ him and Costa are looking to be the perfect signings for Chelsea. Will be a hell of a title race between them and City this year.

I'm glad United fans on here didn't pipe up in this thread too much yesterday....some of have been a bit...absent...when they've been losing.

Could just have quoted any United fan from last season then, I guess...

Fucking Rio Ferdinand. Hard to find a bigger r-tard. His new biography doesn't help him either. "hurr durr muh chips"

Bellerin will be interesting, was hoping they would bring him along this season, he needs game time. He looked pretty decent for Watford (loan) and damn fast for a right back. Fastest player at Arsenal.

oh dear Arsenal down 1-0 been coming for a while, every time Dortmund attack they look dangerous. sloppy play with two defenders tracking Immobile but still got his shot off

Just showed the Liv attempts, they should have put two away but managed not to score.

Bale's goal was decent, chip the keeper then easy finish.

I cringed a bit when Welbeck put that effort wide. That was very Welbeck. :\
